Trump Is Considering Taking the War Against Iran to the Next Level, And Israel Is Preparing to Join the Fight
It appears that we could soon witness a very serious escalation in the Middle East. As you will see below, President Trump is strongly considering “full-scale military operations” against Iran that would be “far more intense and extensive” than we have seen over the past couple of weeks. Since fighting has resumed, the U.S. has primarily been hitting targets in southern Iran along the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. This obviously hasn’t moved the Iranians in the right direction at all. Instead, the Iranians have escalated matters by targeting civilian infrastructure, and now the Bab el-Mandeb Strait has been closed by the Houthis. So now Trump has a decision to make. He could back down and try more diplomacy, or he could take the war against Iran to the next level.
According to Fox News, Trump is expected to make the decision on whether or not “to expand military operations against Iran” soon…

Iran says it is now engaged in a “full-scale war” with the United States. Iranian President Mahmoud Pezeshkian, who is supposedly one of the more “moderate” figures among Iran’s fanatical jihadist leadership, made the remarks earlier today, and judging by events that unfolded over the weekend, the regime clearly wants to escalate.
In response to heavy United States airstrikes, Iran continued to bombard its Arab-Muslim neighbors like Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan with missiles and drones. You may ask. “Why would they attack their fellow Muslims?” It doesn’t make sense on paper, but there are a number of factors to consider.
First off, Iran wants to destroy the economies of these countries, which have friendly relations with America. In the process, they would tank the global economy and drive up oil and gas prices, which they believe would then force the US to stand down.

America celebration of birth since 1776 was spectacular, our independence from mother England 250 years previous having been a painful and bloody one, to say the least. That separation, however, wasn’t one of merely exerting cleavage from an empire determined to rule over the colonies. That is, there has been a much more profound leverage than a revolutionary spirit at work in producing that schism than just the colonists’ desire to break free of overbearing bondage.
America’s founding fathers–that is, a majority of them—recognized the nature of the profound leverage they were allowed to apply in order to burst free from the most powerful military on the planet at the time. It was providential leverage that most of them acknowledged as the intervening force that birthed this nation.

“‘I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.” — Amos 9:15
If we are going to follow a chronological order of events that pertains to the last of the last days, we must begin with the regathering of the Jews into their land and the rebirth of the nation Israel. Jesus said, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: ‘When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away’” (Matthew 24:32-35).
Hosea 9:10 and Joel 1:7 both metaphorically refer to Israel as a “fig tree,” which tells us we are within the boundaries of Scripture to see this as referring to Israel. But there is even more compelling evidence that tells us not only can we see Israel as a fig tree, but we should.

Every American, regardless of party, should demand an election system that is accurate, transparent, secure, and worthy of the public’s trust. That is why the recent claims by President Trump that a Department of Homeland Security review identified hundreds of thousands of noncitizens on voter registration rolls deserve careful examination rather than instant dismissal. The proper response from elected officials, candidates, election administrators, and the news media is simple: investigate the claims, verify the facts, correct any problems, and strengthen the process wherever weaknesses exist. A constitutional republic depends upon confidence that every vote is secure, and every citizen can trust the outcome.
Instead, Democratic lawmakers and many election advocacy groups argued that the administration had failed to provide sufficient evidence supporting the DHS findings and warned that the claims could undermine public confidence in elections. Several mainstream media organizations framed the address primarily through the lens of Trump’s past election challenges. Journalism carries the responsibility to examine the underlying evidence wherever it leads. If a credible federal review identifies possible vulnerabilities, the story should become whether those vulnerabilities exist and how they can be corrected. Treating every election integrity concern as merely another partisan talking point leaves many Americans wondering whether anyone is truly interested in improving the system.
During more than a decade as a high-level political media consultant, I observed campaigns at close range across multiple elections. I witnessed first-hand attempts cheat the vote. Some candidates benefited. Others lost despite those efforts. Too often, officials went to their “go to” response that exposing the problem might damage public confidence in elections. My experiences occurred before widespread mail voting, ballot harvesting, online voter registration, sophisticated voting technology, same-day registration, and relaxing voter identification requirements. Whether concerns arise from Republicans, Democrats, independents, or election administrators themselves, every allegation supported by credible evidence deserves a thorough investigation. Every weakness discovered deserves a practical solution.
Election integrity belongs to every American who values self-government. Honest elections protect every lawful voter equally. When leaders dismiss legitimate questions before the facts are fully examined, they unintentionally fuel greater suspicion rather than greater confidence. Likewise, refusing to repair demonstrated weaknesses sends a troubling message that preserving appearances matters more than protecting the process. America’s constitutional republic rests upon the consent of the governed, and that consent requires confidence in the ballot box. As Proverbs 11:1 reminds us, “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.” The principle applies as surely to elections as it does to commerce. Justice requires honest measures, equal standards, and faithful stewardship of the public trust. Demand it.

Our founding fathers framed a document that Thomas Jefferson drafted for the Second Continental Congress meeting in Philadelphia. Congress adopted the document on July 4, 1776. We call it the Declaration of Independence. Among other things it says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Pastor Chuck Smith once said that sometimes we forget that the Declaration of Independence, which declared independence from foreign tyranny, also declared our dependence on an eternal God. We see this in its closing words: “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
Our forefathers believed that there is a God who guides the affairs of humankind. And they founded our nation on the teachings of the Bible.
Thomas Jefferson, our third president, said, “The Bible is the cornerstone of liberty.”
Andrew Jackson, our seventh president, called the Bible “the Rock upon which our republic rests.”
And Abraham Lincoln, our 16th president, said of the Bible, “All the good the Saviour gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man’s welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it.”
Two hundred and fifty years after the founding of our nation, our need for God’s Word has never been greater. Deuteronomy 7:9–11 says, “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. But he does not hesitate to punish and destroy those who reject him. Therefore, you must obey all these commands, decrees, and regulations I am giving you today” (NLT). There is much to gain by placing God’s Word once again at the center of American life. And there is even more to lose in rejecting His Word.
The wisdom of God’s Word is eternal, timeless. It’s not outdated. It’s not a relic. It doesn’t belong to an earlier, simpler time. The keys to the spiritual revival our nation so desperately needs can be found in its pages.
That’s why we as believers must continue praying that our country finds its way back to the Word of God.
