There Is a Lot of Speculation That the Bombing of Pickaxe Mountain Will Occur Soon, And What Happens After That Could Change Everything
The radicals that run Iran have warned President Trump over and over again not to touch Pickaxe Mountain. Nobody outside of Iran has ever seen what is going on inside that mountain, and the Iranians have been determined to keep it a secret. Because the facility is so far underground, it would be very difficult for even the most advanced bunker-buster bombs to damage it. That is why neither the U.S. nor Israel tried to bomb it during Iran War 1 or Iran War 2. But now Trump is telling the world that we will be bombing Pickaxe Mountain “probably pretty soon”. Is this an indication that he has decided to take the war against Iran to the next level?
On Tuesday, Axios reported that Trump was considering two primary options…
Option 1: Pursue a new 10-day ceasefire aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Option 2: Launch a massive joint military campaign with Israel to force Tehran’s capitulation.
Choosing to bomb Pickaxe Mountain would mean that Trump has chosen door number two.

There’s one major roadblock to a new Middle East, to a region where Israel lives in peace and prosperity with its Arab neighbors. That roadblock is the Iranian axis. In Iraq, Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria, Iran’s regime has spent years creating chaos and surrounding Israel with a ring of fire, a proxy network sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state.
The crown jewel of this evil empire is Hezbollah. Over a period of decades, Iran’s most lethal proxy turned southern Lebanon into its own personal terror kingdom, armed to the teeth and perched on Israel’s border. But much like its masters in Tehran, Hezbollah is now a shell of what it once was, thanks to the full force of the Israeli military.

If you’ve followed my writings over the years, you know I have never gotten overly excited about any (if ever) of the numerous Rapture theories floating across the Internet. That means I intentionally missed out on the 2011 Craze (2018 – 7 years), 2012 Mayan Calendar hysteria, 2014-16 Blood Moon hype, 2017’s September 23rd Revelation 12 frenzy, et cetera. Maybe I’m just jaded like that, but when one holds to a doctrine of imminence (as I do), I’ve learned early on not to get swept up with the latest and greatest hysteria that comes and goes with increasing frequency.

Finding a good church is hard. Most people looking for a church these days desire one that’s welcoming with a genuine community atmosphere, authentic leaders, music that resonates, engaging family and youth programs, is not too far of a drive, and has services at convenient times. But above all these factors, many newcomers prioritize whether the teaching is accurate, understandable, and relevant to their lives. Preaching is one of the highest factors affecting whether someone decides to call a local church their home or move on to the next one down the street.
This task was, to some degree, much easier in the past based largely on a church’s denominational affiliation. The pastor’s theology and preaching style could generally be anticipated simply based on the church’s alignment with that of the denomination. Today, however, the landscape is far more complex, as growing numbers of congregations drift and embrace teachings that would be considered false doctrine, or even heresy. Unfortunately, as Biblical and theological literacy continues to decline among the general population, many professing believers, though sincere, lack the ability to recognize churches steeped in erroneous teaching.

The Democratic Party’s “big tent” is filling up with openly Marxist and communist candidates. NY Democrat candidate Darializa Avila-Chevalier openly celebrated communist and Marxist ideas on social media. But party leaders largely chose inclusion over condemnation. US Rep Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) defended the “big tent” philosophy. Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) dismissed the candidate’s previous statements and welcomed “new members and new ideas.” Meanwhile, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) stood almost alone in warning that the “dirtbag left” has become openly anti-American. When your own members are raising alarms while leadership shrugs, something important is happening. And it is—dangerously so.
Then there is this: A recent poll found that a majority of Democrats say they would vote for a democratic socialist and hold favorable views of socialism. Those numbers do not mean most Democrats support communism, nor do they suggest they embrace every radical slogan heard on college campuses or social media. They do suggest that ideas once confined to the political fringe are steadily entering the mainstream conversation. Political movements rarely leap from moderation to extremism overnight. They travel one small compromise at a time. Every movement eventually reaches a point where its leaders either establish clear boundaries or continue expanding the tent until the tent itself becomes the message. Today, the Democratic leadership is expanding its coalition and redefining its principles. Or maybe its been this way all along.
History provides plenty of reasons for alarm. Marxist governments have promised equality while delivering oppression. Communist revolutions have claimed liberation while producing censorship, imprisonment, confiscation of property, and the deaths of millions. America certainly has its faults, but its constitutional republic has generated more freedom, prosperity, innovation, and opportunity than any Marxist system ever created. That heritage deserves defense, not apology. Senator Fetterman’s willingness to challenge his own side deserves attention because voices of internal correction often reveal truths outsiders cannot. Healthy political parties police their own extremes. Unhealthy ones excuse them until the extreme becomes the new center. The majority in the Democratic Party are excusing the extreme.
Citizens of every political persuasion should ask where today’s compromises may lead tomorrow. In Matthew 15:14, Jesus warned of following those with evil hearts, “ They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” A nation does not stumble into decline through one election or one candidate. It drifts there by ignoring warning signs, applauding destructive ideas, and convincing itself that every new direction somehow leads to greater freedom. America has survived because generations understood that liberty requires responsibility, truth, and moral courage. Those are the principles that deserve a larger tent than the evil of communism. When leaders celebrate confusion, excuse radicalism, and call it progress, the ditch ahead grows deeper with every step. Say it with me... Stupidocrisy.

During World War II, a group of pilots known as the Flying Tigers became legendary. Under their commander, Claire Lee Chennault, they managed to down nearly three hundred Japanese aircraft over a period of six months, from December 1941 to July 1942. What was their secret? Chennault said it was cooperation. Although they were usually outnumbered, they always attacked in teams. They completed their missions together.
Roman soldiers also knew the value of working together. When they marched into battle and were barraged with flaming arrows, they put their shields up, linked them together, and hunkered down, effectively forming a protective wall around themselves. They understood that there was safety—and success—in numbers.
It’s a lesson many believers need to learn. When we experience temptation, hardship, despair, or doubt, sometimes our first instinct is to isolate ourselves. We think, “I don’t want to share this with anyone. They might think I’m not a strong Christian. I don’t want to tell anyone that I’m being tempted by this.”
A better option is to go to our Christian friends and say truthfully, “Will you pray for me right now? I’m under attack.”
Jesus said, “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:19–20 NLT). He wants us to understand that there is power in unity—in this case, in united prayer.
We read in the 12th chapter of Acts that James was put to death and Peter was arrested. These were devastating blows to the early Christian movement. So, what did the members of the church do in response? They got together to pray for Peter. Verse 5 says that “constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church” (NKJV). This was a unified effort. The people of the first-century church put their spiritual shields together. God answered their prayers by miraculously freeing Peter from prison.
What worked for the church two thousand years ago still works today. There is power in unity among believers, in working together and praying together. None of us is alone in this spiritual battle. We have Christian brothers and sisters who are marching with us.
Throughout this month, we’ve talked about the need for revival in our country. And we’ve used the imagery of fire to convey the power of revival to sweep across a wide area. But that potential can’t be realized by thousands or even millions of tiny individual flames burning independently of one another.
Revival requires unity among believers. It requires Christians to coordinate and cooperate with one another. It requires God’s people to support, encourage, challenge, confront, and inspire one another as we work to accomplish God’s will for our nation.
