Is The World Pushing Israel into The Arms of The Antichrist?

Last week, on October 16th, Israeli Defense Forces eliminated Yahya Sinwar, who held the highest position in the Hamas terrorist organization’s military and political wing. He was also responsible for the planning and execution of Hamas’ demonic October 7th invasion—which constituted the most deadly massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust of Nazi Germany.

World Israel News (WIN) reported that his death was “achieved by fighters from the 450th battalion of the IDF School for Infantry Corps Professions and Squad Commanders.”

According to WIN, IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari stated that “Sinwar had been attempting to flee from house to house, moving between structures in Rafah.”

“Hagari noted that Sinwar ‘was in flight,’ and at one point, after the entourage protecting him had been fired upon by the IDF and split up, Sinwar fled alone into a building,” the report continued. “Two tank shells directed by the force at the building where he was hiding led to Sinwar first being injured, and then killed by the second shell. In between the two shell strikes, a squad commander with soldiers who attempted to search the building encountered grenades, retreated, and sent quadcopters inside to gather intelligence. One of the quadcopters filmed Sinwar sitting in a room, injured, hurling a plank at the drone (and missing it). The tank shell that eliminated Sinwar soon followed.”

The world is a better place without this monstrous demonic cult leader. However, not everyone sees it that way. Such was the case with Canadian international law professor Heidi Matthews, who took to X writing:

There is good reason to believe that Sinwar was, in fact, murdered by the IDF. Rather than celebrating death using inflammatory language of “elimination”, Canada should be demanding that Israel comply with an independent investigation into the circumstances of Sinwar’s death.

Does she not know what this monstrous terrorist organized on October 7th—the rape, the murder, the butchering, the torture, and the kidnapping of innocent men, women, and children? Does she not know that Hamas is officially recognized in Canada as a terrorist organization whose Charter is the destruction of Israel?

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) placed a black band on their logo after Sinwar’s death. Of course, a black band is used to symbolize that one is in mourning over the death of an individual. You can’t make this stuff up!

Shame on them!

If you can’t see the moral differences between Israel and Hamas, well, then there’s no hope for you. Wake up! Israel did not start this war; Hamas did and used its civilians as human Shields to carry out their demonic activities. Instead of turning Gaza into something beautiful with the billions of dollars given to them by the International Community, they chose to build one of the largest terror networks in the world. They built this terror network with the express purpose of killing Jews. And yet, we’re feeling sorry for Sinwar? Pinch me; I must be dreaming!

Now that Sinwar is dead, where does Israel go from here? Sinwar’s elimination certainly diminishes Hamas’s ability to regroup and rebuild its terror network. Of course, Israel is unshakably committed to finishing the job. Hamas cannot live another day to repeat another October 7th.

By the way, did you know that in 2005, when Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was leading the country, he gave the entire Gaza Strip to the Palestinians and removed some 8,800 Jewish people living there at the force of their own IDF soldiers? They said, ‘Here you go. We want to make peace. Here is the Gaza Strip. We won’t even have one Jew present.’ What was the response? Well, they elected Hamas to rule over them in 2006. Since then, over 40,000 rockets have reigned into Israel.

Israel is going to finish the job and get rid of Hamas—and we should all wholeheartedly support that.

But when Israel is finished their objectives in Gaza and in Lebanon, who’s going to monitor the region to ensure that there’s not a buildup again of these terrorist organizations? Israel doesn’t ultimately want to be there, and the United Nations, frankly, is useless. Perhaps there will be some other International guarantees that will be looked at and discussed. We’ll have to wait to see where things go, but I can assure you of this: Israel will not return to the status quo that existed prior to October 7th.

What we are seeing are all stepping stones leading up to Daniel’s prophecy in chapter nine, verse twenty-seven. In this passage, we are told that there will be a leader one day that the Bible calls in other areas of scripture “the Antichrist.” He will confirm a covenant one day, a peace treaty, with the House of Israel for seven years. However, the antichrist’s peace will be a false peace. Isaiah 28 calls it a “covenant with death” and “hell.” Nevertheless, the world is pushing Israel into that direction. They’re pushing Israel to make peace, and frankly, Israel is looking for it themselves.

Israel has never been the obstacle to peace. Israel has bent over backwards time and time again to obtain peace. The stumbling block is always those who will never accept Israel as a Jewish State.

If we can see the stage being set for this ultimate “peace” deal that will come one day, and we know that Jesus is coming for His Bride prior to that day, how much closer must the Rapture be?

Friends, if you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, why not call out to Him today to save you from your sins? Ask Him to be your Savior, and He will. What are you waiting for? Today is the day of salvation.

You do not want to be left behind when He comes back for His Bride because when that peace treaty is signed, that is going to usher in the “time of Jacob’s trouble,” the seven-year tribulation period that we read about in the book of Revelation. During this time, God is going to remove the rebellion from this planet and finally get the attention of the nation of Israel. You don’t want to be left behind for that—and you don’t have to, simply call out to Jesus to save you from your sins, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. It’s that simple.

As for those who have sympathy for the devil, would rather stand with terrorists than the Jewish people, and who constantly reject and resent the reestablishment of the state of Israel, let me point you to what the God of this universe has to say about Israel and the Jewish people: “Sing with gladness for Jacob, And shout among the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise, and say, ‘O Lord, save Your people, The remnant of Israel!’ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, And gather them from the ends of the earth, Among them the blind and the lame, The woman with child And the one who labors with child, together; A great throng shall return there. They shall come with weeping, And with supplications I will lead them. I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters, In a straight way in which they shall not stumble; For I am a Father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn. ‘Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.'” (Jeremiah 31:7-10).

Then look at verses 35-36: “Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name): ‘If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the Lord, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever.'”

What are you fighting against? Let’s align ourselves with God’s prophetic plan for His chosen people as He’s regathering them back to their ancestral homeland. Let’s continue also to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

What Just Happened is a Massive Breakthrough…

On September 30th, the Chinese Journal of Computers published a peer-reviewed paper highlighting a significant breakthrough as reported by Interesting Engineering. Researchers used a quantum computer to breach military-grade encryption. According to The Quantum Insider:

"The study emphasizes that while a quantum computer has not yet revealed the specific passcodes used in the algorithms tested, it is closer to doing so than previously achieved. As the technology advances, the researchers suggest that further developments could yield more robust quantum attacks. The ongoing evolution in quantum computing points to potential new vulnerabilities in existing cryptographic systems as scientists push the limits of what these machines can accomplish."

And according to CSO:

"Many cryptographic algorithms that enterprises rely on today, such as RSA and ECC, are based on mathematical problems that are computationally difficult for classical computers to solve efficiently," said Prabhjyot Kaur, senior analyst at Everest Group. "However, the advent of quantum computing threatens the security of these algorithms."

Make note of that last quote. It means the cryptographic algorithms protecting our sensitive information are extremely difficult, if not impossible, for today’s computers to break. But quantum computers can easily crack these codes. Needless to say, this poses a substantial threat to global military and banking systems.

As a result, governments and corporations all over the globe are racing to develop quantum computing and quantum computing applications. Quantum computers promise to advance almost every field of human endeavor – from traditional industries such as banking and energy to new emerging industries such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. But I think the area in which quantum computing will have the most impact is clear – national security. Quantum computing has the potential to break all known encryption methods now used to secure sensitive national security information and military communications. And this would be very destabilizing to the current world order.

What is a Quantum Computer?

So what exactly is a quantum computer? Classical computers encode information in bits, represented as ones and zeroes. Quantum computers encode information in qubits, represented by the directional spin of an electron or the polarization of a photon. Unlike classic computer bits, quantum mechanics allow qubits to exist in both states simultaneously. So instead of representing either a one or a zero, a qubit can represent both simultaneously. By linking qubits together via quantum entanglement, quantum computers have the potential to exponentially exceed the computing power of today’s most powerful supercomputers.

Why is This Important?

Why should you care? Such a computer would be so powerful it could instantly break the most sophisticated encryption methods of the current computer era. Imagine the military advantage a nation state would hold over its peers if it developed quantum computing ahead of all others. It would have an overwhelming advantage. If academic journals are openly discussing the arrival of quantum computing breakthroughs, what do think governments are doing in secret? The United States, China, the EU, Russia, and others have far more resources than the corporate world or higher education. Think they’ll be willing to spend a few hundred billion on a crash program to speed up the development timeline? I think so. And the uncertainty, distrust, and instability of a quantum computing arms race makes it certain. Too much is at stake.

Welcome to the Era of Cyber Warfare

Think about the problems and inconveniences created from short-lived disruptions in Internet service or utility operations. How long can you go without electricity, water, and Internet before a minor annoyance turns into a major crisis?

Consider the impact of two recent cyberattacks – one, a ransomware attack on healthcare processor Change Healthcare, and the other, a cyberattack by a foreign adversary on Texas municipal water systems. A ransomware attack on Change Healthcare back in February impacted over a third of U.S. citizens and cost parent company UnitedHealth Group over $2.9 billion. In January, the Texas town of Muleshoe, was victim of a cyberattack that caused its water system to overflow before a manual override was able to shut it down. The Muleshoe attack was just one of three attacks on small towns in the rural Texas Panhandle, showcasing the vulnerability of our vital infrastructure.

In both of events, it’s believed criminal hackers were the culprits, but nation states have far greater capabilities. And we’re entering an era where nation states will soon have access to quantum computers capable of breaking all current encryption methods. Imagine what would happen in a full-blown cyber war. What would happen if your community lost electricity, water, and sewer service all at once? What if grocery stores went bare for weeks on end? The end result of a cyber war between major powers could be absolutely devastating.

A New World Order

When it comes to World War III or a serious military conflict between major world powers, many people continue to live under a false sense of security. Conventional wisdom says World War III is certain to bring global nuclear destruction. And because of this, every leader on the planet is determined to avoid it at any cost. But is this true? Unfortunately, it’s not. The current world order is based on Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD). MAD is the fear of total destruction and the idea no one can win a war between two nuclear powers. For 70 years, it’s all that’s kept us from World War III. But MAD won’t keep the peace forever. It’s based on technology. And that technology is on the verge of becoming obsolete. Like all previous military eras, the era of MAD will soon come to an end.

To work, MAD relies on certainty. A nation must be certain it can launch a nuclear attack if threatened. Otherwise, an enemy nation could prevail in a first strike scenario. Likewise, the enemy nation must be certain it faces total annihilation if it launches a first strike. This certainty of “mutual assured destruction” is what’s kept the world from destroying itself for over seven decades.

Unfortunately, new technologies will soon eliminate this uncertainty. For example, nuclear armed submarines are the backbone of a nation’s nuclear deterrent. A single nuclear armed sub can carry dozens of nuclear warheads several times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Such submarines patrol the planet’s vast oceans where they’re more than able to evade detection from enemy nations. At the very least, they create uncertainty in the eyes of the enemy, who can never be sure about their ability to disarm every such threat.

But quantum computing will change that. It will accelerate the development of new technologies, such as quantum sensors. With powerful quantum sensors, a nation could detect every submarine on the planet. Once detected, those submarines could be disabled using other new technologies. For instance, quantum computing will also enable advanced modeling of chemical reactions. This will prove critical in the development of molecular manufacturing. With molecular manufacturing, even a small nation could quickly develop legions of tiny swarming drones capable of disarming and destroying any conventional weapon of today. The first nation to develop advanced quantum computers will have the inside edge in the development of these next generation technologies.

Where We’re Headed

The rise of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, drone swarms, and other emerging technologies is a destabilizing event. Together, these new technologies will overturn the post-war stability of MAD. They make World War III inevitable. When the war ends, one nation (or group of nations) will control all of humanity. That nation (or group of nations) will be the leader in the development of these new military technologies. And they will use them to conquer the globe. Does this surprise you? It shouldn’t. The Bible says another world war is certain (Revelation 6:4). It also tells us one nation will control the earth in the aftermath (Revelation 13:7). Is this just a coincidence? No. It’s just one of many signs pointing to the soon return of Jesus Christ. Jesus said when you see all the signs converge, His arrival is near (Luke 21:28). Those signs are converging for our generation. So take advantage of what little time we have left. Spread the Good News and tell others about Jesus. The time is short. Jesus is coming soon!

On The Wrong Track: This Is What an Imploding Economy Looks Like

One of the main reasons why Americans are in such a foul mood right now is because the economy is in really bad shape and it just keeps getting worse. This is very good news for the Trump campaign, because most Americans don’t want things to remain the same. A desire for change is in the air, but our economy is unraveling so rapidly that it won’t be easy for anyone to turn things around. We have built up a tremendous amount of momentum in the wrong direction, and it appears that the months ahead are not going to be pleasant.

Just look at what is happening to home sales.

Last month, sales of previously existing homes fell to the lowest level that we have seen since October 2010.

Of course in October 2010 we were dealing with the aftermath of a global financial crisis.

Overall, we are on pace “for the worst year since 1995” for sales of previously existing homes…

Sales of existing homes in the U.S. are on track for the worst year since 1995—for the second year in a row.

Persistently high home prices and elevated mortgage rates are keeping potential home buyers on the sidelines. Sales of previously owned homes in the first nine months of the year were lower than the same period last year, the National Association of Realtors said Wednesday.

Existing-home sales in September fell 1% from the prior month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.84 million, NAR said, the lowest monthly rate since October 2010.

Let those numbers sink in for a moment.

We haven’t seen anything like this for a long time, and nobody can deny that the market for residential real estate is in a depressed state right now.

And it appears that this month could be even worse than last month, because the number of mortgage applications being submitted is absolutely plummeting…

Mortgage applications decreased 17% from one week earlier as mortgage rates surged, according to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) weekly application survey for the week ending October 11, 2024.

The Market Composite Index, a measure of mortgage loan application volume, decreased 17% on both a seasonally adjusted and an unadjusted basis from one week earlier.

Meanwhile, our nationwide commercial real estate crisis just continues to intensify.

If you can believe it, an office building in Manhattan that sold for 332 million dollars in 2006 just sold for 8.5 million dollars…

The sale of a nearly 1 million-square-foot Manhattan office building listed on the online auction site Ten-X was completed Tuesday for only $8.5 million.

That’s 97 percent less than the $332.5 million that the seller, Swiss bank UBS, paid for the Midtown property in 2006. The loss on the building at 135 West 50th Street was minimally offset by a $6 million gain UBS realized by buying and selling the ground beneath it in the interim.

UBS and its brokers at JLL listed the 920,000-square-foot building for sale on the online platform. The two-day auction kicked off July 30 with a starting bid of $7.5 million. The sale ended the next day after Ten-X lowered the reserve price. The winning bidder, whose identity has yet to hit property records, closed about 70 days later.

That is insane!

Commercial real estate prices have been crashing all over America, and this crisis is not getting the attention that it deserves from the media.

The banking industry is headed for big trouble as well. In fact, the government shut down another bank on Friday…

Friday, The First National Bank of Lindsay was closed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) appointed as receiver. The OCC acted after identifying false and deceptive bank records and other information suggesting fraud that revealed depletion of the bank’s capital. The OCC also found that the bank was in an unsafe or unsound condition to transact business and that the bank’s assets were less than its obligations to its creditors and others.

The OCC is referring the matter to the United States Department of Justice, which has a wide variety of tools to hold individuals accountable for criminal acts and focuses on victims in all of its matters.

Some experts are projecting that hundreds of more banks will soon fail.

If that actually happens, it will be a complete and utter nightmare.

The “restaurant apocalypse” that I have written about so much also continues to roll on.

Sadly, we just learned that Denny’s has decided to shut down 150 locations…

Denny’s is closing 150 restaurants over the next year, and the 71-year-old diner chain is mulling a major change to its 24/7 operating hours.

Fifty locations are set to close by the end of 2024, while the remaining 100 will shutter in 2025, Denny’s announced in an earnings call Tuesday. That amounts to a tenth of its restaurants, leaving 1,375 locations once completed. A specific list of closing restaurants weren’t immediately announced.

Needless to say, lots of other chains are slimming down as well.

Right now, thousands upon thousands of restaurants are being permanently closed from coast to coast.

If the economy was heading in the right direction, this would not be happening.

Speaking of closures, another major retailer has announced that it will be closing all stores…

Buybuy Baby is shuttering all of its stores roughly a year after new owners tried to revive the brand.

The company announced on its website that it is transitioning to an online-only model after recognizing the need for a “a strategic reset.”

“With this shift, we’ve come to the difficult decision of closing our physical stores by the end of this year,” the company wrote. “We understand this may be disappointing news, and we want all our customers to know this wasn’t a choice we took lightly.”

Most retailers that are experiencing difficulties will try to hang on until at least the end of December.

But once we get into 2025, expect a huge wave of new store closures.

As I discussed the other day, U.S. consumers are really hurting at the moment.

You can’t get blood out of a stone, and a staggering percentage of U.S. cardholders have already maxed out at least one credit card…

Nearly 2 in 5 cardholders (37%) have maxed out a credit card or come close since the Fed started raising interest rates, Bankrate’s Credit Utilization Survey found. That includes 20% who have maxed out a credit card and 17% who have come close to maxing one out.

This is what an imploding economy looks like.

Bubbles are bursting all around us, and the outlook for 2025 and beyond is absolutely horrible.

Our leaders kept the game going for a long time by injecting trillions of dollars into the system and by going into unprecedented amounts of debt.

But despite all of their efforts, the economy is coming apart at the seams anyway, and so I hope that you are prepared for a very hard landing.

Third Temple Fervor - Ark Replica Comes to Jerusalem as Levite Priests Practice

In a remarkable fusion of ancient tradition and modern craftsmanship, a meticulously constructed replica of the biblical Ark of the Covenant was showcased in Jerusalem during the Sukkot holiday. The display, which took place at the prestigious King David Hotel, featured the golden vessel housing a Holocaust-surviving Torah scroll from Thessaloniki, Greece.

A Labor of Faith and Precision

The ambitious project, spanning three and a half years, involved 17 volunteers across multiple countries who adhered strictly to Torah specifications. The replica's construction required approximately three tons of Egyptian Acacia wood and was adorned with high-purity gold measuring 23.75 carats - the same grade used in ancient Egyptian royal artifacts.

The project's chief architect, identified as Jake, emphasized that creating the replica involved more than simply following biblical instructions. "It was really a deep process of discovery and a mystery," he explained, noting that the team had to conduct extensive research to fill in gaps not addressed in the original Torah specifications.

Engineering Challenges and Ancient Techniques

The team faced numerous technical challenges in creating a functional replica. Weighing 85 pounds, the ark needed to withstand significant physical stress, particularly the torsional forces created when carried by four people. Following historical authenticity, the construction used no modern fasteners like screws or nails, instead relying on ancient Egyptian woodworking techniques such as mortise and tenon joints.

The ark's exterior features artistic depictions of four key moments from the Exodus: Moses at the burning bush, the parting of the Red Sea, the divine guidance in the desert, and the giving of the Ten Commandments. Perhaps its most intricate feature is the pair of cherubim - winged, child-like figures - crafted in gold atop the ark.

Symbolic Timing

The replica's unveiling comes during a particularly significant moment in Israeli history, as the nation faces multiple security challenges. Several Knesset members attended the presentation, drawing parallels between the ark's historical significance and current events.

MK Simcha Rothman, chair of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, reflected on the biblical relationship between the Ark and victory in warfare, emphasizing that the Ark's power lay not in the object itself but in what it represented - the connection between the Jewish people and God.

Future Plans and Significance

The replica has already traveled to several significant locations, including Shiloh, the ancient site of the Tabernacle, and has even made an appearance at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Its creators hope to continue its journey, possibly including visits to military camps, though specific long-term plans remain under discussion.

Lewis Topper, the project's principal financier, views the replica as more than just a historical reproduction. "It was a project designed to bring peace to the world and to bring victory to the Land of Israel, and to bring peace and kindness to America again," he stated.

Cultural Impact

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a research fellow at Bar-Ilan University's Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, highlighted the ark's significance across different faith traditions. He emphasized the profound impact of being able to see and interact with a representation of this sacred object after two millennia.

The project's completion represents more than just a technical achievement; it serves as a tangible connection to ancient Jewish history and tradition. As Jake, the chief architect, concluded, "What the ark represents is the fact that the covenant is still valid... God's commitment to His people is as strong as it was 3,500 years ago when the Ark was built."

Biblical Ark

God first commanded Moses to build the Ark of the Covenant in the Book of Exodus:

"Have them make an Ark of acacia wood - two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out, and make a gold molding around it...Then put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law, which I will give you." (Exodus 25:10-16)

Plated with pure gold and mounted with two golden Cherubim, the Ark was carried by the Levites as the Jewish nation wandered in the desert for 40 years. Playing a significant role in various Biblical accounts, the Ark is described as having supernatural powers.

Eventually, the Ark came to rest in the First Temple, which was built by King Solomon. The Ark was placed in a special inner room known as the Holy of Holies, where the High Priest would enter once a year on Yom Kippur.

The Ark was last seen in 586 BCE when the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem and destroyed the First Temple. What happened to the Ark remains unknown until today. The disappearance of the legendary Ark over 2700 years ago is an enigma that has given rise to much speculation by biblical archaeologists and explorers. There are many contradictory theories as to what really happened to this sacred artifact and where it might be today.

Approximately 35 years before the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BC, King Josiah ordered that the Ark be brought into a special chamber that King Solomon had built as part of the original plan for the Temple as found in a special Temple scroll that was given to him by his father King David. The prophets Samuel and Nathan (II Chronicles 35:3). King Josiah foresaw that the Temple would be destroyed. They ordered the Ark's placement into this secret chamber well before Jerusalem was even being threatened.

The Rambam (Maimonides) quotes the Talmud in a number of places that state that the Ark was buried "in its place" and for "generations after generations," and "to this very day" (I Kings 8:8) in the warren of tunnels beneath the Temple Mount. In fact, directly beneath the Holy of Holies.

Meanwhile on Sunday, a full-dress reenactment of the water libation, as it was performed in the Temple, was held in Jerusalem with several hundred participants led by Kohanim in priestly garb, accompanied by Levites playing musical instruments.

The event began at Shaar Hashpot (the dung gate) in Jerusalem's Old City where participants joined Kohanim (priests) in Biblically mandated vestments and Levites with musical instruments, also wearing special vestments. The musically gifted Levites led the ceremony with joyous music on drums, violin, guitar, and clarinet, winding down ancient walkways into the valley below the Temple Mount.

The crowd sang and danced as they passed from the archaeological remains of the ancient City of David, through an Arab village, to the Shiloach (Siloam) Spring, which was used in Temple times. The procession was punctuated by stops during which four-foot-long pure silver trumpets were sounded.

The Temple Institute prepared a special gold-plated solid silver vessel for use in the Third Temple. This vessel was carried at the head of the procession to the Shiloach Pool where it was filled from the spring. The procession climbed back up to the top of the mountain. A model altar and its utensils had been set up in an open area adjacent to the Western Wall. The altar was decorated with large leafy willow branches as was done in the Temple.

Though not explicitly mandated in the Torah, the water libation is part of the oral tradition passed down from Moses. Sukkot is a joyous holiday and the water libation was the focal point of this joy. In the Temple, the ceremony would take fifteen hours with accompanying celebrations lasting all night until the Temple service began again the next morning. Nations came from around the world came to take part in the Sukkoth celebrations, making it an international worship ceremony of God.

In Temple times, a libation of water was made together with the pouring out of wine at the morning service on the last six days of the week-long Sukkot holiday. Kohanim descended from the Temple to the Shiloach Spring at the base of Mount Moriah, where they filled the flask with three log of spring water (approximately two pints) and then returned to the Temple.

Two Kohanim then ascended the stone altar in the Temple's inner courtyard, placing two silver cups on the southwestern corner. One Kohen poured the water from the silver flask while the second Kohen simultaneously poured wine from the second cup, both liquids flowing into holes in the altar specially prepared for this ceremony.

The Shiloach Pool (Siloam in English) has huge Biblical importance in that it will re-emerge when the Third Temple is built. The Pool of Siloam was the starting point for pilgrims who made the annual pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Biblical feasts. They would use the pool to wash and ritually purify themselves before ascending by foot to the inner court of the Temple Mount to bring their sacrificial offerings. Located outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem to the southeast, the pool is fed by the waters of the Gihon Spring, which are carried there by the Siloam Tunnel, also known as Hezekiah's Tunnel.

Sometimes referred to in the Bible as the Lower Pool, the pool was built during the reign of Hezekiah (715-687 BCE) to replace an older Canaanite tunnel, known Biblically as the Upper Pool, that was vulnerable to attackers. The new pool and tunnel left besieging armies without access to the spring's waters. Archeologists believe that during the Second Temple Era, the waters continued to flow south and were collected in an additional, larger pool. This pool was discovered during the summer of 2004 and is continuing to be uncovered today.

Projection is accusing someone of what you have done, are doing or intend to do. Projection is the ultimate in US politics. As a political consultant in the 80s and 90s, there was one action that was consistent in every opposing candidate—accusing another of what that candidate was doing. For example, if a candidate accused his opponent of having an affair, it was a sure signal that the accuser was having an affair. If a candidate accused his opponent of financial maleficence, you can rest assured that the accuser was playing funny games with money. We have seen this play out on the presidential stage very clearly over the recent elections. And it is continuing today just days away from the election.

Remember when Hillary Clinton was accusing Donald Trump of colluding with Russia? Turns out that she was bilking millions from Russian interests through the Clinton Foundation, AND it was Clinton, Barack Obama and the Democratic Party that paid to have a false dossier on Trump to “prove” their claims. Or how about when Clinton accused Trump of not accepting the results of the election because he is a threat to democracy. But it was Clinton, not Trump, that legally contested the election results in 2016, channeling democrat Al Gore in 2000 and again in 2004 with John Kerry. The Democratic Party has a long history of legally challenging election results. Trump said he would challenge them if he saw there was a problem—and the democrats and news media turned that into Trump wanting to be a dictator.

Currently, with Democrat Kamala Harris underperforming, the leftist media outlet Axios is reporting that several key Democratic Party House of Representatives members are “considering” challenging the presidential election results if Trump wins. They cite that, unlike democrats, Trump republicans will not use “free, fair and honest means to secure a victory.” Axios reported: House Rules Committee Ranking Member Jim McGovern (D-Mass.), who also objected to Trump electors in 2017, said Democrats would certify a Trump victory “assuming everything goes the way we expect it to.” Those are almost the same words Trump used in his debate with Clinton, but the democrats and media skewered him for it.

The Washington Examiner reported October 11, “Election denialism, of course, has a long tradition in the Democratic Party. In fact, the last time members of the party did not attempt to prevent the certification of a Republican victory in the presidential election was in 1988, when Bush won a landslide against Michael Dukakis. So, it is of little surprise that party members are already laying the groundwork to object to another Trump presidency. However, Democrats have spent the last four years hysterically condemning Trump as a threat to democracy because he refused to concede the 2020 election.” You can see this is the ultimate projection lining up for after the election. As in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” They will try to ensure a Harris victory, but if not…projection.

Daily Devotion: Godly Friendship

Sociologists tell us that in the first stage of life, we are shaped mostly by our family. In the second stage of life—and for the rest of our lives—we are shaped largely by our friends. Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future. In ways big and small, we become like the people we spend time with. Our friends influence us for better or worse. They either elevate us and motivate us to be our best possible selves, or they take us down with them.

And we do the same for them. Some people bring joy wherever they go. Others bring joy whenever they go. Which one are you? Are you Bobby Buzzkill or Debbie Downer? Are you the one who lights up a room or turns the lights off? Are you the one who builds others up or the one who tears them down?

Proverbs 18:24 distinguishes between destructive “friends” and real friends. But in our lives, it’s sometimes hard to tell the difference between friends “who destroy” and friends who stick “closer than a brother.” And if you don’t have a lot of friends, it’s hard to tell whether a friend who destroys is worse than no friend at all.

The Bible offers several tips for finding godly friends and avoiding ungodly ones. Proverbs 22:24 says, “Don’t befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people” (NLT). Psalm 1:1–2 says, “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night” (NLT).

The best places to find these potential friends are where God’s people meet. Worshipping or serving together at church or in a ministry is ideal common ground on which to build a friendship.

If you already have godly friendships, treat them like the treasures they are. Give God thanks for them. Express your gratitude to your friends. Refuse to take them for granted. Respect their time, their opinions, their boundaries, their privacy, and their personal preferences.

Be the godly friend your friends need. Pray for them daily in a meaningful way. Stay informed about their needs and struggles so that you can take each one before God individually. Encourage them with words of comfort, motivation, and wisdom from Scripture. Put genuine effort into your friendship. Give it a place of priority in your life. Do the heavy lifting when necessary. Refuse to allow minor squabbles to grow into something bigger. Be quick to understand and forgive. Keep the lines of communication open.

Be the person who sticks closer than a brother no matter what happens.
