A New Day Is Coming

On Dec. 26, 2024, Israel Hayom reported that senior Israeli officials believe Trump has just two objectives regarding Gaza and Israel that will go into effect on Jan. 20, 2025.

The release of the hostages.
An Israeli victory over Hamas.

Israeli officials also believe that:

Trump will cancel all of Biden’s restrictions on Israel.
Trump will provide Israel with all the weapons Israel needs.

A new day is coming.

Israel’s military will grow stronger.
Israel’s borders will be expanded.
Israel’s enemies will continue to fail.

(My opinion: Israel must still go through the Tribulation Period, and the entire world will be against her, but God is strengthening Israel before that day arrives.)

Here are more signs that a new day is coming:

One, on Dec. 31, a CNN reporter asked Pres. Trump about his past comment that there will be “hell to pay” if the hostages are not returned by the time he assumes office on Jan. 20, 2025.

Trump replied:

Let me put it this way: They had better let the hostages come back soon.

Two, on Dec. 24, 2024, TV7 Israel News reported that HTS (the Turkish-backed terrorist group that helped bring down the Syrian government) wants the UN to oust Israel from Syria.

Three, concerning Turkey’s participation in the Battle of Gog and Magog (a great war in the latter years and latter days): on Dec. 25, 2024, it was reported that the son of Turkey’s Prime Min. Erdogan called for Turkey to conquer the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

(My opinion: When the Battle of Gog and Magog takes place, God will destroy Turkey’s military along with the militaries of Russia, Iran, and several other Islamic groups. The defeat of those militaries will open the door for the rise of a world government. It will be a different day on planet Earth.)

Four, on Dec. 28, 2024, Israel’s Foreign Min. said the people ruling Syria are not people that have been elected to run the nation.

They are Islamic terrorists that have seized the government.

(More: On Dec. 29, 2024, Syria’s new leader said drafting a new constitution could take three years, and it might be four years before Syria could hold an election.)

Five, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 25, 2024, Israel’s Chief of Staff, Halevi, said,

Let Iran, its proxies, and the entire Middle East know that anyone who attempts to undermine the stability and security of the State of Israel, the IDF will stand firm against them.
Israel is ready to strike at any time and in any place.

(My opinion: Israel attacking Iran is not the Battle of Gog and Magog, but Iran retaliating with the help of Russia, Turkey, and other Islamic groups and nations would be.)

Six, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 26, 2024, it was reported that the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen have fired five ballistic missiles and five drones at Israel in the last ten days.

The head of Israel’s Mossad suggested that Israel should strike back at Iran instead of striking back at the Houthis.

It has been reported that Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “Iran is a different issue which will be dealt with at the appropriate time.”

Seven, concerning anti-Semitism and corruption in the UN: on Dec. 27, 2024, the Houthis took responsibility for an overnight missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion airport.

The Houthis said the missiles hit their target, but Israel said they shot them down.

Anyway, on Dec. 28, 2024, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres blasted Israel for its recent retaliatory attacks on the Houthis without saying one word about the Houthis firing missiles at Israel.

(My opinion: The nations on planet Earth should have no part in a corrupt world government, but the day is coming when the entire planet is subjected to the most evil government that ever existed.)

Eight, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 27, 2024, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) staff reported that,

Turkey is involved in reshaping the new Syrian government (sending in military and political advisors; helping with the restoration of Syria’s navy, air force, ground forces, etc.).
Turkey is showing an increased hostility to Israel (accusing Israel of breaking international law by committing genocide and being an occupying power in Gaza, presenting itself as a defender of the Palestinians, declaring Jerusalem a red line for Muslims, urging the international community to act against Israel, etc.).
Turkey’s relationship with Russia and Iran is growing.
Turkey has one of the most powerful and best-equipped military forces in NATO (355,000 active personnel, 378,000 reserves), and it has a strategic advantage by being closer to Israel than Russia and Iran are.
Erdogan has long expressed a desire to rebuild the Ottoman Empire.

All these things seem to be lining up with Ezekiel’s prophecy of the Battle of Gog and Magog in the latter days and latter years (Ezek. 38-39).

Nine, concerning world government: on Dec. 29, 2024, FobiddenNews Substack reported that King Charles III (in a Christmas Message to the world and to the UK that was posted on the official website of Buckingham Palace) said,

It is only by embracing a global framework – a true partnership of nations, as envisioned by the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset – that we can address the profound challenges before us.

For some unknown reason, later in the day, the posting was removed, and a videotaped watered-down version was broadcast.

But several people managed to get the original posting before it was removed.

According to the screenshot, King Charles III also said,

The time has come to face an undeniable truth: the concept of absolute sovereignty, as we long understood it, must evolve – indeed, it must be dismantled – for the good of humankind.
A unified global governance is not merely an ideal; it is a necessity if we are to safeguard the future of our planet and our people.
The time for half measures has passed. Our survival demands courage, cooperation, and a willingness to embrace transformative change. If we do not act decisively, we risk a future marked by fragmentation, instability, and despair.

There was also an announcement that King Charles III will host a global forum in early 2025, convening leaders, thinkers, and innovators to discuss the practical implementation of this shared vision.

A REMINDER

I am on record as saying the Bible teaches,

>That the world will be divided into ten regions at the end of the age.

>That a leader will be appointed (not elected) over each region.

>That the Bible calls these ten leaders the Ten Kings, and that the Ten Kings are a prelude to the rise of the Antichrist.

>That the process of creating regions is called regionalization (Google this).

>That the EU was selected to be the first region to rise, and its structure, laws and morals are the pattern for the other nine regions to follow. (Structuring the Ten Regions the same way will make it easier to merge them into a one-world government, and this makes King Charles III’s involvement and call for a global forum in early 2025 interesting.)

>That one of the other nine regions will be the North American Union (NAU; called continental integration, merging nations on the continent of North America), and this makes Trump’s statement about annexing Canada interesting).

>The transformation of the world from sovereign nations to a world government officially went into effect on Jan. 1, 2016, when the “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals went into effect. UN Sec. Gen. Ban Ki-moon hailed it as the “start of a new era” and said there is now a “new universal agenda.”

>World leaders decided they would take 14 years (2016 to 2030) to transform every nation on earth and that hopefully the masses won’t rise up and oppose them; that we are now a little more than halfway through the transformation period, and we can expect the transformation to pick up pace and severity.

>This process of merging the ten regions into a one-world government is called global integration.

>This is part of Pres. Obama’s “fundamentally transforming the United States of America,” Pres. Biden’s “New World Order,” Klaus Schwab’s “Great Reset,” etc.

(My opinion: Some or all of the Ten Kings may be given power before the Rapture, but as far as I know, the Bible does not address that.)

Another reminder:

I am writing this on Jan. 1, 2025. We are now 3 ½ years from Israel’s 80th birthday – 1948-2028. In Psa. 90:10, the prayer of Moses says, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten [70 years]; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years [80 years], yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

The length of a generation is debatable, but some prophecy teachers believe a generation is 70-80 years. They know that Jesus was talking about His Second Coming when He said, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree [Israel]; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled (Matt. 24:32-34). This may be another major indication that a new day is coming soon.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

The Top Underreported Stories Of 2024

Anything about President Donald Trump's Would-Be Assassins

In 2024, President Donald J. Trump became the first president to endure two attempted assassinations in close proximity since Gerald Ford in 1976 -- and the first presidential candidate to be shot on the campaign trail since George Wallace in 1972. At a July 13 rally in the Pittsburgh suburb of Butler, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from a rooftop.

Since President Trump turned his head at a pivotal moment to look at a chart of illegal immigration figures, the bullet that would have penetrated his skull merely grazed his ear. Another bullet claimed the life of 50-year-old retired fire chief Corey Comperatore. The president would later tell the delegates of the 2024 Republican National Convention, "I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God" (before announcing he had raised $6.2 million for the families of Comperatore and others injured in the attack).

The media coverage had nearly died out by September 15, when a second would-be assailant staked out the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, lying in wait with an AK-47. Legacy media interest in the second attempt on the president's life ended long before Election Day. Months later, the average American knows virtually nothing about either assassin.

The media blackout of Trump's would-be killers has to be regarded as voluntary. When the media have the right kind of shooter, they have no problem doing investigative reporting. For instance, the media had no problem promptly identifying UnitedHealth CEO shooter Luigi Mangione's reading list, his Spotify playlist, his favorite Pokemon character, and -- curiously -- many, many shirtless photos exposing his rippling abs. Although police seized a total of 4.5 terabytes of information from Crooks's two cell phones, a laptop, and flash drives, the media have yet to report a detailed history of the man, whose Bethel Park neighbors describe him as a loner.

The media has no excuse for not covering the motives of the second would-be Trump assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old with an extensive political and criminal history. Routh's politics require no investigative skills to ascertain: He's a radical left-winger. He internalized the Democrats' campaign theme that Donald Trump would end democracy as we know it and believed Ukraine is the flashpoint for global freedom.

In a characteristic social media post in April, Routh said Biden's campaign slogan "should be called ... Keep America democratic and free," while Mr. Trump's campaign, he said, should be "make Americans slaves again master. ... DEMOCRACY is on the ballot and we cannot lose. We cannot afford to fail. The world is counting on us to show the way." Unlike every other conflict in human history, the war in Ukraine "is definitely black and white. This is about good versus evil," he claimed.

"He believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it," said President Trump of Routh.

Routh had lived at the intersection of politics and violence for some time. Routh traveled to Ukraine and told local authorities he knew of 3,000 al-Qaeda and Syrian rebel soldiers willing to fight for Ukraine. (Other estimates placed this at between 200 and 250 Syrian rebels.) Routh reportedly said he had been authorized to offer these al-Qaeda officers up to $2,000 to $2,500 a month. But at the time, Routh was reportedly telling international mercenaries fighting for Ukraine that he loved Donald Trump. "Every conversation was about Donald Trump. Every conversation was about how he was upset that Biden had won," remembered a man who knew Routh in Ukraine. "He mentioned January 6; he wished he'd been a part of that. It was a new American Revolution."

Ukraine was not the only international conflict Routh seemed intent on deepening. "I want to give Taiwan thousands of economical Nato trained Afghan soldiers to help defend Taiwan," posted Routh on social media. In another message, Routh wrote, "I can supply thousands of Nato trained Afghan soldiers very cheaply" to Haiti.

Adding the remarkable investigative prowess Routh would have needed to ascertain President Trump's whereabouts hours in advance, his appearance at international battle zones, and the fact that Routh entered a guilty plea to possessing a Weapon of Mass Destruction (apparently some kind of homemade explosive) in December 2002 should have sparked curiosity among any reporter worth his salt.

So should the fact that both assassins came close to killing President Trump after the Secret Service -- which reports to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas -- marked their extremely obvious snipers' dens outside the red zones to be inspected by law enforcement. Yet the legacy media have studiously avoided any investigative reporting about the would-be assassins, their motives, or how such catastrophic security failures could happen twice within 64 days.

Instead, the media seemed more concerned the near-assassination of President Trump would aid his electoral fortunes. "Will assassination attempt change the way people view Trump?" worried Sarah B. Wire and Zac Anderson of USA Today.

Once the incoming Trump administration has access to (whatever is left of) the Secret Service's files about his two assassination attempts, they must be made public. Americans deserve at least as much extended discussion of the Left's dehumanizing rhetoric about Trump supporters as we got over January 6.

Kamala Harris/Democratic Party's Misinformation and Disinformation

More than any campaign in recent memory, the Democrats purposely built their 2024 presidential campaign on a series of falsehoods, lies, and mis- and disinformation. Some had classic tropes that had passed into left-wing mythology so long ago that the Left could not help repeating them. Take, for instance, the allegation that President Trump called neo-Nazi rioters at Charlottesville's Unite the Right rally "very fine people." The Democrats repeated this canard enough that the seven-year-old fable became the sixth most-searched item on Snopes in 2024. "No, Trump Did Not Call Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists 'Very Fine People,'" the left-leaning, fact-checking website concluded.

In reality, President Trump condemned "some very bad people" among the group, but added, "you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides." He promptly clarified, "And I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly," because they were "protesting very quietly the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee."

Kamala Harris also repeated the claim that President Trump called dead American soldiers in a cemetery in France "suckers and losers." The story, reported originally by The Atlantic, relied on anonymous and second-hand sources. Those who were present for the discussion swore it never took place. "I was there for that discussion," said former Trump adviser John Bolton, a hawkish neoconservative and Never-Trumper who voted for either Dick Cheney or Harris in 2024. "I didn't hear that."

Attempting to stir up threats of violence and mayhem, Harris claimed in the 2024 presidential debate that "Donald Trump the candidate has said in this election there will be a bloodbath if the outcome of this election is not to his liking." On March 16, candidate Trump told a rally near Dayton, Ohio, that he will "put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across" the border from Mexico. "Now if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole" industry, he said.

And so on, and so on. The Harris-Walz campaign did all it could to mainstream misinformation. Yet the legacy media -- which claimed Trump told 30,573 lies as president and accused George W. Bush of telling 955 lies to promote the Iraq war -- could hardly rouse itself to point out Harris's endless string of falsehoods.

Biden Has Transformed America through Legal Immigration Too

Occasionally, a story comes along that suffers a complete blackout from conservative and liberal media outlets. The ways legal immigration has transformed America is one such story.

Right-leaning websites have emphasized the Biden-Harris administration's open borders policies and blatant lawlessness. Yet even the legacy media could not hide the extent of the illegal immigrant tide flooding American communities over the last four years, which repeatedly broke the record for the largest number of illegal border crossings in U.S. history:

2,901,142 illegal border crossings in 2024

3,201,144 in 2023

2,766,582 in 2022

1,956,519 in 2021 (which includes nearly the last four months of the Trump administration)

Taken together, the 10 million illegal immigrants who crossed the U.S. border during the Biden-Harris administration amount to a population larger than 40 of our 50 states. This administration has released the vast majority of illegal immigrants onto U.S. streets without properly vetting them.

The Democratic administration has also increased the number of illegal immigrants exempted from deportation by granting an unprecedented level of Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Although the administration agrees these individuals have come into the United States illegally, the government claims they may "temporarily" stay in the U.S. in legal limbo, since it is too dangerous for them to return to their home countries. The Congressional Research Service recently sketched the extent of TPS under Biden-Harris: "As of the cover date of this report, 17 countries are designated for TPS.

As of September 30, 2024, approximately 1,095,115 foreign nationals residing in the United States from the following 16 countries were protected by TPS: Afghanistan, Burma, Cameroon, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen." The total number of illegal immigrants granted TPS status rose from 320,000 to 1.1 million -- a 240% increase in four years. Such statistics cast a new light on statements from liberals such as Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), who urged Biden to "complete important work" to keep illegal immigrants from being deported.

But illegal or quasi-illegal immigration is not the only way to "fundamentally transform" the United States. A far less recorded milestone took place in plain sight. During the four years of this Democratic administration, the United States added 3.5 million legal immigrants, the largest number in U.S. history.

The authors of the 1965 Immigration Act insisted it would not materially change the number of legal immigrants coming to the United States, which then numbered approximately 300,000 a year. Newly-elected Senator Ted Kennedy assured jittery senators that "our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually." Hawaii's senator for life, Daniel Inouye, agreed that "the total number of potential immigrants would not be changed very much." But the bill reoriented U.S. immigration away from merit and assimilation toward "family reunification": Anyone with a relative in the United States jumped to the front of the immigration queue.

As soon as they became citizens, their relatives moved into the on-deck circle. By the first Clinton administration, the number of legal immigrants topped one million a year. If you ever wondered how Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-Minn.) district became a distant enclave of Somalia, or why Ohio State Representative Ismail Mohamed (D) gave his victory speech in the Somali language, now you know.

New immigrants vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party. While never more than 26% of new immigrants vote for Republicans, as much as 67% identify as Democrats, according to the Pew Research Center. Voting is not the only way legal immigrants reshape the U.S. political landscape for American citizens. As this author wrote in The Washington Stand:

"Mass immigration created 14 Democratic congressional districts, while it cost battleground states four districts and eliminated 10 Republican seats, the report found. Including immigrants' children gives Democrats a total of 18 additional congressional districts, while erasing six districts in swing states and 12 Republican seats. By 2030, the immigrant advantage will shower Democrats with a net gain of 10 seats -- or 16, including their children. ...

"The noncitizen impact gives far-Left voices greater reach and power in Congress. Eight of the 10 states that cover abortion-on-demand through Medicaid are sanctuary states, and 83% of America's sanctuary states force taxpayers to cover transgender procedures through Medicaid."

A century ago, the United States reached a similar crisis point on legal immigration. It passed an immigration law assuring low levels of immigration to allow the vast foreign-born population to assimilate into U.S. culture. Since the number of foreign-born Americans is now 15.6%, the largest in U.S. history, similar solutions must follow.

Corporations Step Away from Woke (at Least Publicly)

If the 2024 election gave any clear message, it rejected the agenda of open borders; transgender extremism; and the racist plunder-and-redistribution scheme that goes by the name Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In November, Americans rejected Vice President Harris's guidance that, as Americans, "We have to stay woke."

Some believe woke corporate policies have begun to recede behind the will of the people and ruthless, capitalist devotion to the bottom line. After investigator Robby Starbuck exposed Walmart's inner DEI policies, around Thanksgiving, Walmart backtracked. As Suzanne Bowdey wrote at TWS:

"Walmart joins a long list of companies who are publicly rejecting the agenda that's tanked the stocks and profits of unrepentant brands like Bud Light, Nike, and Disney. Sam Walton's stores now join a consumer activist trophy wall that includes Tractor Supply, John Deere, Harley Davidson, Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Lowe's, Ford, Coors, Black & Decker, Jack Daniels, DeWalt tools, Craftsman, Caterpillar, Boeing, and Toyota. Together, these companies represent an eye-popping $2 trillion dollars in market value."

Since Bowdey's excellent article, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have agreed to jettison DEI policies, under the gun from anti-racist lawyers. Have activists posing as HR executives genuinely seen the light, or will they merely continue the same policies under different names? Walmart virtually admits the latter, promising to "[s]top the use of DEI as a term while ensuring a respectful and supportive environment."

It may be this is a genuine response to popular pressure. A Gallup poll taken in May showed less than one in four Americans (38%) want businesses to take a stand on political issues. But it appears to come under duress. America First Legal has filed numerous lawsuits and federal complaints accurately stating that DEI policies violate the 1964 Civil Rights Act's prohibition on racial discrimination.

Now that President-elect Donald Trump has named America First Legal founder Stephen Miller his White House deputy chief of staff for policy, the corporations see the handwriting on the wall. Legal efforts to flush out and prosecute racially discriminatory policies must proceed apace until the scourge of racist college admissions and hiring standards comes to an end and corporations stop peddling sexual deviance to minors. If the second Trump administration has signaled that it will maintain vigilance on this issue, so much the better.

With all due respect for the truth that "politics is downstream of culture," sometimes culture is downstream from politics.

To make matters better, the collapse of woke political regimes appears not to be merely a U.S.-based phenomenon.

The Collapse of Liberal Governments around the World

When President Trump rode into the White House in 2016, he cemented a worldwide rejection of globalism embodied by that summer's Brexit vote in the United Kingdom. In 2024, he appears to be riding a similar global wave of resurgent patriotism.

As of this writing, the government of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the most beloved government figure among the international intelligentsia, appears to be teetering on the brink of collapse. Trudeau's deputy prime minister and finance minister, Chrystia Freeland resigned on December 16. Trudeau, who imposed draconian measures on the nation during the COVID-19 outbreak, faces increasing calls to resign -- calls he is reportedly considering.

The same fate appears to await the Davos crowd's second-favorite global leader, French President Emmanuel Macron, who appointed the fourth prime minister of the year earlier this month. His chief rival, National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, has said she will "prepare for an early presidential election."

To his east, Germany's Social Democratic Party leader Olaf Scholz's left-wing coalition government with the Green Party has collapsed. Scholz, who presided over the first left-leaning government in a generation, appears poised to lose the February 23 election to Friedrich Merz of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Meanwhile, Elon Musk has endorsed the populist-nationalist Alternative for Germany (AfD), writing, "Only the AfD can save Germany." AfD currently polls in second place at 19%, a showing so strong that the SPD changed the law to prevent AfD from altering the balance of the judicial branch if and when AfD is duly elected.

The tectonic plates beneath the United Kingdom's political structure have also shifted. Brexit leader Nigel Farage's new party, Reform UK, has displaced the Conservative Party as the largest party in the nation. Earlier this month, the party won a local by-election held in St Helens, Liverpool. Elon Musk has also signaled his support for Reform UK, holding out the possibility of financial support after Musk met Farage at Mar-a-Lago.

Despite the winds blowing throughout Europe, the continent's self-appointed leaders remain incapable of reading the signs of the times. The European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) released a report in September titled "Welcome to Barbieland: European sentiment in the year of wars and elections."

It opposed the EU's "whiteness," denounced patriotic opposition to the EU's globalist agenda from Central Eastern European (CEE) countries, and worried CEE "not only might many people and governments in Central and Eastern Europe feel vindicated, but they may now also claim the right to moral leadership in the EU." The Biden Administration's Serial Falsification of Official Government Statistics

One of the most concerning aspects of the Biden-Harris administration's assault on truth is its decision to falsify official statistics, so future generations cannot correct the record. This administration has serially lied about the number of jobs produced, crimes perpetrated, and murders committed during its four years and has begun changing statistics of previous administrations as well.

Careful observers have come to expect the downward revision of the monthly jobs report nearly as regularly as the report itself. "The great American comeback continues," said then-candidate Joe Biden in June, as he touted the previous month's job report. But the May and June jobs report, like nearly all their predecessors, were revised downward. Then the entire previous year followed suit.

In August, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced the Biden economy had produced fewer jobs than it had previously reported -- a lot less. The U.S. economy had produced 818,000 fewer jobs between March 2023 and March 2024 than the administration first announced. The revision, the largest since 2009, is five times as large as the typical revision of 0.1%. When asked about the massive discrepancy, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo asked viewers to discount the evidence in front of their own eyes. "I don't believe it," said Raimondo. "I'm not familiar with that."

As ill as these statistics bode for the economy, worse consequences take place when the government changes crime stats. Last year, the FBI reported that crime had decreased nationally by 1.7%, but it later confessed that crime in fact rose by 4.5% -- a difference of 6.2%. "The FBI's recent failures to report accurate data draws into question the veracity of the recently released 2023 Crime in the Nation report, which estimated a 3 percent drop in national violent crime," said Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. "Vice President Harris has touted the 2023 data too, and the media has used it to dispel Americans' real concerns about crime."

The Biden-Harris administration's errors and disinformation extend to the worst of all crimes: murder. Jim Agresti of Just Facts Daily noted a growing divergence between the officially reported number of murders and the number of death certificates that list homicide as the cause of death. The number swelled from just 16 in 2003 to an average of 3,711 every year of the Biden-Harris administration.

In addition to revising the Biden-Harris administration's murder totals downward, the administration has raised the number of murders under previous Republican administrations. "In 2023, however, the FBI revised its murder data from every prior year back to 2003. While the changes in some years were minimal, others were substantial. For example, the FBI altered its murder estimate for 2003 from 16,528 to 17,716, an increase of 1,188, or 7%," reported Agresti. This year, the FBI reduced the number of murders committed in 2021 -- the first year of the Biden administration and also the year of the BLM/George Floyd riots -- by 5%.

These are official statistics, painting a false picture with government data to conceal the peaceful nature of previous Republican administrations and the rampant crime and lawlessness of the Biden-Harris era.

U.S. Birthrate Falling

This underreported story of 2024 may have received little media coverage, because it has become the new norm. Seemingly every year, the number of babies born in the United States decreases to unprecedented levels. This year, the CDC announced that the U.S. birthrate cratered to a new historic low of 1.62 in 2022.

Low population rates cause a host of problems -- from reducing economic activity, to straining social welfare programs, even to promoting the spread of COVID-19. The baby bust is not evenly distributed nationwide. "Republican states (those that Trump won in 2020) generally have markedly higher fertility rates than Democratic ones (those that Biden won), suggesting that more men and women feel confident about starting and raising families in red states than blue ones," concluded a study by the Institute for Family Studies (IFS) titled "Where Are the Babies? In Red States, Fertility Rates Are Higher."

But politics provide no silver bullet answer to increasing fertility. The birthrate rises in conservative states because of the culture that brings right-leaning governments into power: a culture of family, eternal values, and faith -- traditional Christian faith, which commands its adherents to be fruitful and multiply, induces them to place the well-being of others ahead of their immediate gratification, and assures them a Higher Source will use all the power at His disposal to nourish and guide their children and grandchildren for a thousand generations to come.

A Counterfeit Of ‘The Most High’: Why Satan Manipulates World Leaders

As we are all well aware, because he is a created being himself, Satan is not a creator, but he is a counterfeiter. This is most evident in Isaiah 14:13-14 where we bear witness to the infamous five “I will” statements. The final statement, recorded in Isaiah 14:14 is this: “I will be like the Most High.”

In Hebrew, reference to “the Most High” is rendered “El Elyon.” This is one of the truly exquisite names for God found in the Bible. As we know, each of the divine names is given in order to reveal to man some quality or characteristic of God that cannot be found to the same extent in any other being. All divine names (and this one in particular), therefore, set God apart from and elevate Him infinitely higher than all other beings, whether in heaven or earth.

For Satan to believe that he could become like El Elyon shows the extent of his foolish pride. As Donald Grey Barnhouse said in his book entitled The Invisible War, “He awoke in the first moment of his existence in the full-orbed beauty and power of his exalted position; surrounded by all the magnificence which God gave him. He saw himself as above all the hosts in power, wisdom, and beauty. Only at the throne of God itself did he see more than he himself possessed, and it is possible that even that was in some sense not fully visible to the eyes of the creature.”

But it begs the question – of all the names and characteristics attributed to God, why does Satan want to be like El Elyon? Well, let’s examine some passages where the name is used to give us a better idea.

The mysterious Melchizedek, who Abram meets as recorded in Genesis 14, uses the name El Elyon for God. In Genesis 14:18-20 we read: “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: ‘Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.'”

After his meeting with Melchizedek, Abram then also identifies himself with El Elyon (Genesis 14:22).

Moses also worships God as the Most High God. In Deuteronomy 32:8, we read: “When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.“

Since God is revealed to be the possessor of heaven and earth, we come to learn that His sovereignty and power knows no bounds. In other words, the authority of the Most High God transcends heaven and earth, including all created things. Even though most of mankind fails to acknowledge this, the demons have their theology correct. In Mark 5:7, we read of Jesus healing a demon-possessed man: “And he cried out with a loud voice and said, ‘What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.'”

That acknowledgment was also made by the demon-possessed slave girl. In Acts 16:17, we read: “This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, ‘These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.'”

Perhaps the most significant use of this name for God (El Elyon) is found in the Book of Daniel. You will recall that Nebuchadnezzar was the king of a vast empire. But the king was taking credit for these achievements and was in great danger because his heart was becoming proud. Daniel 4:30 reads: “The king spoke, saying, ‘Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?'”

As punishment for his pride, Nebuchadnezzar would dwell with the beasts of the field and eat grass like oxen… “till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.“

After his period of punishment ended, Daniel 4:34 records: “And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.“

If we were to translate El Elyon into English, it not only refers to God as the Most High, it also fundamentally defines God as “the strongest strong One.” In every instance where the name El Elyon is used for God, it stresses His strength and sovereignty, meaning His plans always prevail. Now, for the prideful creature we know as Satan, that is exactly the power and authority he desires. His sin was a direct challenge to the power and authority of God.

In seeking to counterfeit God’s work through mankind, Satan is also searching for men through whom He can work in order to exercise his authority throughout the earth and establish a powerful kingdom with him as its ruler. The men he desires must not only carry out his will but also cooperate to do the one thing that he believes will stop the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ – destroy every Jew.

On the basis of Satan’s work through the proud human rulers of ancient Tyre (Ezekiel 28) and Babylon (Isaiah 14) and his future work through the Antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13), Satan’s strategy is to cultivate pride in the hearts of human rulers in order to mirror the sin which led to his fall.

As Geoffrey W. Grogan wrote in the Expositor’s Bible Commentary: “When Satan works his malign will through rulers of this world, he reproduces his own wicked qualities in them, so that they become virtual shadows of which he is the substance… All rulers of international significance whose overweening pride and arrogance bring them to ruin under the hand of God’s judgement illustrate both the satanic and the Antichrist principles, for these principles are really one.”

In the future Tribulation Period, Satan will empower and use two men in particular—the Antichrist and False Prophet—to establish a worldwide form of his kingdom to rule over the earth. His chief goal will be to destroy all witness for God (including Israel) and ensure worship is directed to himself.

The time is growing ever closer when Satan will unveil his plan to the world, seeking to convince mankind that he is in fact “the strongest strong one.” But it is all a deception. There is only one El Elyon and very soon, He will demonstrate His power and sovereignty by establishing the Millennial Reign of Christ throughout the whole world. What a day that will be.

On Enduring Unto the End

Vince Lombardi, the famous Green Bay Packer coach of the 1960s, known for his draconian training regimen in preparing his players, said: “Fatigue makes cowards of us all.” He put his observation to practical use against his opponents by making sure it was the opponents, not his team members, who were fatigued by game’s end. Each Packer player was totally spent at the end of each practice session; he left all he had on the field of preparation.

When strength was returned and fully pumped up on game day, there was more than enough to overpower those not as intensively conditioned. The result was a championship team that continues to be memorialized in sports lore all of these years later. There was no team that could match Lombardi’s Packers when the fatigue set in during the later stages of the games they played during the height of their power. There were teams that could match their natural athletic abilities, but none could match their endurance.

The game was won by the intensive time of preparation as much as it was won on the actual field of play.

The use of the above sports analogy is not far-fetched. Paul, the great champion for taking the gospel of Christ forth, used just such an analogy to describe his life, death, and glorious future in God’s kingdom:

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:4-8).

Paul, it is obvious by studying his writings, was a sports fan. He used things like running a race, beating the air, finishing the course, and other terms that give us insight to the fact that he at least took interest in the society of his day. That society was one filled with sports activities, and that would have been a natural subject for the great teacher to interject as he presented the gospel and matters of Bible doctrine.

The games of the day included Olympics-type events. The races in particular turned on the cheers of fans of the day. Crowns of laurels (wreaths of leaves) were placed upon the victors’ heads by the judges.

Paul linked the races of his time to the bema (judgment seat of Christ), at which children of God will receive crowns of victory based upon how they ran the race in Christ’s cause during their lifetimes. The very nature of such a race indicates the necessity of enduring–persevering–through the long, sometimes uphill miles of living a life of righteousness.

Most often, Paul used such analogy to indicate, as in the verses above, the fact that the Christian should be willing to endure. In many places, he taught how to build endurance. That preparation most often was wrapped around prayer, Scripture study, and practical action–witnessing and teaching truth to others.

God’s Word telling us to endure is one area of Bible prophecy that has caused anxiety-ridden questions among some. It seems to those who question that the command to endure, according to the language used, is a requirement to assure salvation. One must “endure unto the end” to be saved–to win in the game of life, thus secure one’s place in Heaven for eternity.

Endurance is one of the things God requires of His children. As a matter of fact, He demands it. But, what does the term “endurance” used in the Scriptures, causing anxieties among some believers, mean, exactly?

A close examination of the key verses involved is necessary to understand the term “endurance” in God’s prophetic lexicon. One such reference is found in Paul’s words about a departure from Bible doctrine during the end of the Church Age:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry” (2 Timothy 4:3-5).

Paul was prophesying a time–indeed, I am convinced we are in that time—when many within the very heart of the Christian church will move away from preaching and teaching that humankind is lost and needs the Savior, who is Jesus Christ, alone (John 14:6). This failure to endure the sound doctrine taught by Jesus, Paul, and the other apostles would, Paul indicated, be a fatigue that would make cowards of many, causing them and those they teach to turn to lies.

We see this very thing today. The gospel that humanity is lost in sin, thus must turn to the shed blood of Jesus Christ for remission of that deadly sin, has been changed to give the feel-good message that God is love and would never condemn those He knows to be less than perfect. The fable-makers teach and preach the do-good message that we must go along with the world of philanthropists who preach a social gospel to feed, clothe, and, in general, show the have-nots that humanism is their savior.

Much of the Church today thus has failed to “endure until the end.”

Jesus pronounced, in strong language, the role “endurance” will play in the days leading up to His second advent:

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:11-13).

Jesus even asks in one instance whether He will find any faith on earth when He returns. And, this is where the anxiety comes in for some. Is Jesus saying that those who do not hold to absolute Bible truth until the very end won’t be “saved”? Must we–and those of the tribulation era—never slip up and sin, thus departing from truth, or else suffer the eternal damnation of hellfire?

The answer is found within the character of the One who issued the solemn statement. Jesus, who said “It is finished” when He completed the redemption plan of God on the cross at Calvary, also said:

“My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:29).

Saints “endure” through Christ. We haven’t the ability to resist this fallen world apart from the strength found only in our Savior. The supernatural endurance required to “endure unto the end” is not in us, but in Jesus, who paid the full price for our eternal souls:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

When we are “in” Christ, we will “endure,” because Christ “endures.” He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

Now, this does not excuse the Christian from remaining faithful to God. In that sense, “endurance” is our responsibility. It is our responsibility to the very end–of our lives, or until the Rapture of Christ’s body, the Church. We are to strengthen ourselves for spiritual battle in order to not become fatigued through prayer, Bible study, and exercising our witness before our fellow man. We put on the whole armor of God as we are directed to do in Ephesians, chapter 6.

God equips us. He doesn’t demand such a hard thing without providing the ability–even the absolute guarantee–of that sort of “endurance” that takes His child “unto the end.”

Those who fail to exercise their witness, in whatever way God directs, become flabby, ineffective ambassadors in Christ’s royal service. There is always a heavy price to pay for such sloth. Not loss of salvation for those who are truly in Christ’s grip, but a loss of position within the kingdom of God.

Those who fail to endure in the center of God’s will will suffer loss of rewards when kneeling before their Savior at the judgment seat of Christ.

That is one primary reason we at Rapture Ready exhort Christians to join in our efforts in these closing days of the Age of Grace–the Church Age. There are many, many opportunities to labor, to “endure,” during these trying times that are presented by this dynamic website effort to reach the lost world for Christ.

Many are writing articles, many are writing encouraging emails, and some are giving in other ways to God’s work on raptureready.com.

One area we very much need help is in finances. Donations have dwindled, yet the ministry-associated needs of Christ in these closing days of the age have never been more pronounced. Enduring to the end also means supporting Christ-centered ministries with our financial offerings. If hundreds of millions of dollars can be contributed to so-called secular causes–many of which are of little help to hurting humanity–why don’t those who hold to Bible truth support faithful ministries with greatly abundant offerings?

Jesus said: ”For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). Again, Christ’s Great Commission that we as Christians must deliver to the end has at its center the following message to those who need Jesus to be saved from the sin that otherwise will separate them from the Heavenly Father forever.

“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Sometimes it is difficult to forgive someone for an offense. There have been times in the past where people have done some really rotten things to me, even to the point of falsely accusing me of doing wrong and taking action that had dire impact on me and my family. In one case, I prayed to the LORD that I couldn’t take it anymore and asked if He would remove this person from my life. And he did. But I had to find forgiveness in my heart. Forgiveness is essential to a healthy life and relationship with the LORD. If we do not have the capacity to forgive and the willingness to do so, a root of bitterness can take hold in our hearts that will lead to many relationship and health issues.

Genesis 44:18-47:27 continues the story of Joseph as ruler over Egypt and his brothers. Who, not realizing Joseph’s true identity, returned to Egypt to buy more grain and secure the release of their brother Simeon. In a final test of their hearts, Joseph had his goblet placed in Benjamin’s pack, and sent his steward to “catch” Benjamin in the supposed act of theft. The brothers are brought back to stand before Joseph, and as punishment Benjamin is to become Joseph’s slave. Judah approached Joseph and said, “Please my lord! Let your servant say something privately…(44:1a).” The Hebrew verb used here for approach is “nagash,” meaning to “draw near” or “join,” and has the connotation of being close enough to touch. Judah then pleads for his brother Benjamin’s freedom, and offers himself in the place of Benjamin.

This is a complete change of heart because it was Judah who was responsible for selling Joseph into slavery. Seeing that his test had revealed Judah’s change of heart, Joseph said to his brothers, “Please! Come closer…I am Joseph, your brother whom you sold into Egypt (44:4).” The words, "come closer,” have the same form as the Hebrew word “nagash.” First Judah, "draws near" to Joseph to intercede for Benjamin, then Joseph “draws near” to his brothers to reveal himself to them. Joseph said in Genesis 45:5,7, “But don’t be sad that you sold me into slavery here or angry at yourselves, because it was God who sent me ahead of you to preserve life…that you will have descendants on earth and to save your lives in a great deliverance.”

The main point of this story is that Joseph forgave his brothers. He does not hold against them his brothers conspiring to kill him, nor recriminate them for selling him into slavery. Yet the real significance of Joseph’s story goes beyond him and his brothers. The message here is that of repentance, forgiveness, and not bearing a grudge. Jesus is our prime example. Like Joseph, Jesus was betrayed, yet He forgives us all, even offering His life as a substitute for ours. James said it well in chapter 4:8 of his book, “Come close to God and He will come close to you.” Stay close, and cling to Him. Remember, forgiveness, no matter if the offending party is not sorry or repentant, is key to a healthy life. It is also required by God. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:15, “If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

As word of Jesus’ miracle-working powers spread, more and more people flocked to see Him. And when they heard His message, they asked to be baptized. Before long, Jesus’ disciples were baptizing more people than even John the Baptist himself. That level of popularity attracted the attention of the Jewish religious leaders. They started to feel threatened by Jesus’ increasing influence. Instead of giving them a chance to scrutinize Him, Jesus returned to His home region of Galilee. And the route He took surely raised some eyebrows.

The quickest route from Jerusalem to Galilee led through Samaria. However, most Jewish travelers preferred to take a longer detour to the east to avoid the region. That’s how much they hated Samaritans.

Samaritans were of mixed ethnicity. Most Jewish people regarded them as half-breeds. Their religious practices combined Judaism with pagan elements, which caused their Jewish neighbors to hate them even more. Centuries of bad blood had created a deep animosity between Jews and Samaritans.

Jesus took the path straight through Samaria. And He stopped at a well near the town of Sychar. While His disciples went into town to buy food, Jesus rested near the well.

Around noon, a Samaritan woman approached the well to draw water. Jesus asked her for a drink. The woman was stunned because there were several invisible, but very real, social barriers between Jesus and her. One, Jews didn’t talk to Samaritans. Two, men didn’t talk to women privately. And three, few people talked to a woman with her reputation. She had been married five times and was living with a man who was not her husband.

Yet Jesus refused to allow these artificial boundaries to prevent Him from making a personal connection and sharing His Good News. The woman pointed out that, like the Jews, the Samaritans were waiting for the Messiah, God’s chosen Redeemer.

“I am the Messiah!” Jesus revealed.

The takeaway here is obvious. Our culture urges us to focus on the differences that divide us. Conservative vs. liberal. Men vs. women. Young vs. old. Christian vs. non-Christian.

Jesus urges us to focus on the things that unite us. The need for compassion, love, understanding, peace of mind, and assurance about our future. The desire to be known, to have a purpose, to find fulfillment and joy, and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. In short, Jesus built bridges.

The woman told other Samaritans about her encounter with Jesus, and they believed in Him too. So we see that when one person is willing to cross social barriers, the impact can be enormous.

Word of Jesus’ coming arrived in Galilee before He did. The people there welcomed Him because they’d seen what He did in Jerusalem during the Passover celebration. In Cana, the site of His first public miracle, He got an urgent request from a government official whose son was on his deathbed.

In this passage, we see why Jesus initially hesitated when His mother asked Him to intervene when the wine ran out at the wedding feast. Jesus recognized that the spectacle of His miracle-working would overshadow His message. That’s why He asked, “Will you never believe in me unless you see miraculous signs and wonders?” (verse 48 NLT).

The key to Jesus’ encounter with the government official is that the man believed what Jesus said. In this case, his son was healed. Not every prayer is answered that way. Not everyone recovers from sickness. But everyone who believes what Jesus says will find grace, forgiveness, comfort, strength, direction, endurance, and wisdom.
