A Time Within a Time

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” - Matthew 24:44

They were all puzzled! The great teacher who spoke to them in riddles and parables had given them perhaps the most difficult mystery to solve. While they were coming daily to hear about this new magnificent Kingdom He was supposed to unveil, He told them it would only come when they weren’t expecting it. Huh? How could this be? If He was the Messiah (as they all hoped ) and He was here now and speaking of the kingdom He was bringing, then how could it be that what they expected was not going to happen until they weren’t expecting it? They were baffled. And so began God’s perplexing enigma regarding the timing of the Pre-Trib Rapture of the Church.

Circa 593 BC …

The Prophet Ezekiel is being shown a vision by God that bewilders him. It is a heavenly vehicle of some sort that has cherubim and faces of humans and animals, and underneath it are wheels turning within wheels … Ezekiel writes down what he sees but it has been debated amongst scholars for millennia precisely what this prophetic vision means. Some consider it a visible characterization of the omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent God of Israel. A God who can be all places and see all things and know all things and control all things at the same time. Complete Divine Sovereignty! Some see it as God’s heavenly war machine that can trample the entire earth with his coming all-consuming judgment. I have a little different take on these wheels within wheels. They could indicate how God unfolds time within time as history moves in different directions all at the same time while God controls the end results.

GOD’S MYSTERIES

All through scripture, God gives us mysteries. Prophesies we have to unwrap. Symbols to decipher. Timelines with key dates for starting and end points we have to figure out. These are kept hidden because the Lord wants our attention to His details and wants us to search His Word and watch so we will understand His plan as He unveils it. But some things are not to be understood until their time comes. And some things… are even hidden in plain sight.

Have you ever seen one of those multidimensional pictures where you look at it and it appears to be one thing but the longer you stare at it, the more your eyes and mind adjust and you suddenly see a whole other picture within the picture? Some call this an optical illusion. In a sense that is how I see God hiding history in His written word. Some things are obvious and black and white. Time unfolding in a linear direction! Other things are hidden within those surface details. And they don’t necessarily have to be unfolding in our dimension.

Some examples:

-Most of the last 2000 years have been a punishment for the Jewish nation known as the Diaspora. But it has also been the Grace age in which God built His Church on the Gospel of Christ. It was an age of discipline and also one of mercy and Divine patience.

The Church age has been like the parable of the dragnet bringing in everything both good and bad. It is likewise made up of Wheat and tares in a similar parable analogy. One part is the visible Church seen from the outside. The Church that the world sees can’t distinguish between genuine and false converts because no one knows what is inside the hearts of men. The invisible Church (the ekklesia), however, consists of the true believers who internally have put their faith in Christ and are truly saved. It is much smaller than the visible Church. Only God knows the difference. He knows His true Church from the visible one that the world calls the Church. From a human perspective, the Church is one big organization but God sees the true Church within the Church.

One of the greatest examples is the visible kingdom of men running parallel with the demonic kingdom of Satan. Humanity believes it is controlling its own outcomes and taking the world in the direction it needs to go to survive and prosper but behind the scenes, powers and principalities are governing and maneuvering humanity in a course of self-destruction.

The Holocaust: Perhaps there is no greater example of a time within a time, than the Holocaust! A time when the Jews were demonically being destroyed by Hitler’s Final Solution in an attempt to exterminate the entire race for good. But within that nightmarish period were the seeds of rebirth as God was using World War Two as a birthing room to bring forth a reborn nation of Israel onto the world’s stage.

GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY

Above all the best-laid plans of mice and men, and all the evil hidden dark endeavors of the fallen spiritual realm, is the true power that controls history...and that is God’s sovereign will. While humanity moves ahead believing it controls its own fate, and demonic forces move behind the scenes manipulating men to do their bidding, God providentially is moving all of it in a designed path to bring about His predetermined conclusion.

Nothing can change God’s will or alter His plan. No obstacles man may attempt to construct, nor diabolical schemes Satan tries to concoct, can hinder God’s plan even by one second. God is in complete control and He moves providentially through the ages sweeping history like a giant broom into his Divine dustbin. In the end, no matter what kind of mess humanity has made or what kind of destruction the Devil has wrought, God will have a perfectly clean finished product when the sweeping by His Sovereign Hand is complete.

WHERE WE ARE HEADED BY MEN

There is a final destination for human government that God pre-determined long ago. When the prophet Daniel saw the great statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream it revealed four mighty empires that would rule Earth before Israel’s mysterious Diaspora. Those kingdoms were Babylon which ruled at the time of the dream in Daniel 2. The second kingdom was to be Medo-Persia. The third was Greece and then came the colossal Roman Empire. But when Rome destroyed Jerusalem and trampled the Jewish nation scattering its people to the corners of the earth, God went silent on giving any human government insight during Israel’s long exile.

But just as the Jewish nation was disappearing from the world’s table of nations, by the Lord’s Divine hand, the time of the Church miraculously appeared. God began growing an invisible kingdom within the hearts of men during that long Diaspora period as unnamed earthly kingdoms rose and fell like waves in the ocean. The only thing revealed to us was that Rome’s impact would be felt through the two millennia as symbolized by the long legs of the statue. Since the height of the Roman Empire, Europe’s influence has remained dominant leaving an indelible mark across the centuries.

Nevertheless, as history nears its climax, a revived Rome will briefly emerge from the remnants of that empire, bringing forth the Antichrist and establishing a global monarchy.

From a human perspective, that final global government will be the crowing achievement of man’s desire to “ Be like God!” Ever since Eve bought Satan’s lie in Eden and chose to strive for equality with God rather than trusting God’s Fatherly love, humanity has wanted to be sovereign over everything. Mankind has finally arrived at a time when technology has finally matched their enthusiasm, which will result once again in a global government. This final human government will have the technological ability to master everything on the planet . thus crowning mankind as having reached the zenith as a race. Or so the globalist leaders think ….

SATAN’S ULTERIOR MOTIVE

Hidden beneath the goals of man are the lies of Satan. The Prince of Demons is not at all interested in lifting man’s self-esteem or in the glory of the human race. Satan has long wanted to be worshipped as God and the entire global government Beast system is being built not for man’s glory but for Satan’s desired worship. Secretly the Devil is setting a trap that will ensnare all of humanity and force them to honor, adore, and worship him as God or be destroyed. All the mechanisms are being set in place for Lucifer to appear omniscient and omnipotent and omnipresent with total power to rule the world through the Antichrist and nothing on earth will be able to counteract his evil plan.

The global elites who believe they are building a giant global empire for their own glory, are about to be surprised when Satan’s man of the hour emerges to wow them with his brilliance and convincing charisma. Their plan to rule the world through ten regional governors will give way to this vibrant genius who comes out of nowhere to dazzle them with his mind and words. In a short time, the throne of the entire world will be given to him as the world believes he is the “ultimate man” and Satan will believe he has at long last, achieved equality with the God of Heaven.

GOD’S TIME WITHIN TIME

But… just as man’s plans will soon be swallowed up in Satan’s hidden agenda, so too will Satan’s ultimate desire be thwarted by God’s sovereign power. While man is striving to erect a global paradise for himself, and Satan is helping humanity build it so he can steal it, God is bringing it all to pass for three distinct reasons.

To bring sin to fullness and judge the world.
Save Israel through the fire of Tribulation.
Bring His Son back to rule the world in righteousness and fulfill all prophecy to the glorification of Jesus Christ!

Just when humanity thinks it has achieved total control of the planet, the Devil will snatch it from them and use that total control to enslave mankind. And just when Satan thinks he has achieved his aspiration to be like God and rule the world, God will send back His Son to overthrow and destroy the global Beast system and vanquish the Devil to the pit for 1000 years. Christ’s kingdom will be established and He will reign eternally as King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

NOW WE MUST EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Jesus was adamant in His warnings to those following him to remain watching and faithful or they would be caught unaware of His return. While His warning could certainly be taken in a general sense to all people to be prepared to meet Him due to the uncertainty and fragility of human life, in the direct sense, this admonition was to those who would be alive at the time of His return.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.” Matt 24:42-43

This would appear to be a direct order from Christ to walk in faithfulness and watch the signs so we would know when His return is near and keep from being surprised. We should be living lives worthy of His calling and not be living for the world as we see the day approaching (Heb 10:25).

“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that Day should overtake you as a thief.”

1 Thess 5:4

Paul reinforces this instruction by telling the early Church they are not to be living in darkness as the lost world will be when the Lord returns. The true observant Church is to be watching and waiting faithfully for their Lord’s return. But if watching will prepare us for Christ’s return and spare us from being caught off guard, then doesn’t that mean we will be expecting His return because the signs are obvious? If so then why this warning?

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”

Is this just a warning for the lost or a clue to us that when we think the signs are all ready to be fulfilled then something will appear to have changed the inevitability of Christ’s imminent return? I believe we are experiencing another “Time within a Time” moment. Or at least we are about to.

Over the last 15 years, the tone of everything has changed throughout culture. The globalist movement began openly changing societies' cultural standards and long-held truths into a progressive freight train that was barreling down the tracks toward globalism and wasn’t planning to stop at any crossings until it reached its destination as a One-World Humanist government. When Donald Trump was elected the first time the Train was forced to slow down and the Demonic hatred for nationalism and conservatism was brought to the surface showing the true colors of the movement we were witnessing. The election of 2020 and the last four years appeared to put the 2030 World government of the elites back on track but then .. against all odds … Donald Trump won again in 2024.

Now we are in a bizarre moment of history as the “Last Trump” administration is getting underway. While I certainly hoped Trump would win based on his pro-America views vs. the opposition's anti-American views, I can’t honestly say I fully trust Trump. I love a lot of his appointees and feel he has a lot of good ambitions but something doesn’t feel right as the weeks since the election have unfolded. It seems the globalists have put up only token resistance and the left has been a little too accommodating in relinquishing power. Oh, they still spew defiance but the militant hatred seems to have been quelled and Trump looks to truly be in charge of the global political scene. But is this appearance of control real? …. Or …is this the beginning of “in such an hour as yet think not” that Jesus said would be the predominant mindset of the planet when He breaks back into time?

Think about this. If Trump delivers on much of his MAGA program agenda, the world will appear to be rejecting the global government mantra and be on a path back to stronger Nation states. And America will be back on track as the leader of the world. MAGA would at minimum appear to be holding off the Beast system and subsequently, the Rapture likelihood for at least the time being. But what if the Global elites have consulted one another and decided to let Trump finish building globalism by way of the rise of the ten regional kings and let him help consolidate the North American region with the US takeover of Panama and renaming the Gulf and potentially even a merger with Canada?

What if allowing America to be great again is part of the global elite plan to bring about all the final pieces of the prophetic Beast puzzle? If Trump is to be successful he will need a strong economic rebound but that likely will mean the implementation of digital currencies. He may have the clout to do just that. What if Trump’s new alliances with tech leaders and Elon Musk help lead to the Mark of the Beast and the human/machine technological mergers and the AI-generated “Image of the Beast”?

All these are things we see in Revelation but still need implementation and Trump may be just the man to do it. And what about preparing the final peace deal with Israel and the many? He may not be able to accomplish these things if he was getting total opposition from the global elite but what if they are just willing to sit on the sideline and let him do their work for them?

I find the likelihood of this happening not only a possibility but maybe even a probability. And remember what the Bible says in Daniel 7. Once all the final pieces are in place and ten kings are seated, three of the kings will be removed as the Antichrist ascends. Could Trump be one of the ten regional kings and one of the three that gets usurped after all things are in place? I think this very well may be the case

THE OTHER PURPOSE OF THE WARNING

While we certainly are to be ready for conditions that could take our eyes off the imminent return of Jesus and that is an important point of His warnings, there is another more subtle reason that may possibly be why our Lord told us that most would not be expecting His return. The Rapture (1 Thess 4:13-18, 1 Cor 15:51-56) is denigrated by the majority of the Church and by the world in our day. Oh, there are many in the Church who believe a Second Coming will happen one day, and many in the world are looking for a messiah-like figure to fix this world's current problems, but the fact is that most of those people still think the Rapture is pure nonsense. Therefore they will surely be caught unawares even if they believe Jesus will return one day because the Rapture needs no signs and is not as easy to predict as the Second Coming will be due to the presence of the Antichrist on earth.

The MAGA supporters in the Kingdom Now movements may even believe Trump is the man to help deliver the world’s systems to a Christian movement that will win the world for Christ and deliver a glorious saved planet to Christ when He returns to rule it. It is faulty eschatology but one that could cause many to follow Trump like a modern-day John The Baptist paving the way for Jesus.

So… when they see the world appearing to be in repair and not in the midst of devastation, they will know the Second Coming is not imminent, and because of their disbelief in the Rapture, they will be caught off guard when Jesus takes His Bride out of the world.

CONCLUSION

The ravages of the Tribulation period will make it impossible to describe Jesus’ second coming as a surprise when it happens. When the Lord says His coming will happen when no one expects it, we have to understand He is talking about the Rapture. Not the Second Coming.

Something will have to happen shortly before Christ’s return for His Church to lower the world’s concern about the times that are approaching. A new confidence in the direction of the nations will have to occur for the world’s expectation level for imminent doom to decrease. This new confidence will either distract the world’s citizens away from the approaching Beast system or will excite them to the point of desiring what this final human system is offering. What could that distraction or enticement be?

A post-Covid world that has grown weary from high inflation, woke ideologies, marginalization of the majority’s opinions, and increasing wars and rumors of wars, appears ready for some drastic changes in the world’s leadership. Donald Trump’s election to his second and “last” term has brought hope to many and great angst to a lot of others but there is no doubt he will bring energy and ideas and clout. Perhaps even enough clout to bring real hope for peace in the Middle East. Real hope that an economic boom is still possible in an American-led financial revival is just on the horizon.

There is also real hope that technology can be used as a tool for supercharging an industrial boom rather than just a weapon of the elites to stifle opposing opinions. And perhaps trust that by whatever means Trump needs to fix things (regional trade blocks, digital currencies, unregulated technologies being unleashed, etc) will all be made available to him as he goes about reversing the downward spiral of the world’s fading nation-states.

If Trump fails, there is no place else for America and the nation-states of the world to realistically turn in hopes of continuing the post-WW2 world order as it stands. Only the coming global Beast will offer hope. But… if Trump does succeed, the euphoria created by the stunning turnaround of the global direction may very well produce the belief that an era of success and human greatness is right on the horizon. The concerns of planetary doom will be temporarily on hold and this may very well be just what our Lord was warning about when He warned His return would come when no one is expecting it.

We all want a savior when things look grim. But.. when all is rolling smoothly we forget our frailty and allow our egos to run amok. The only Savior for lost souls and for the restoration of planet Earth is Jesus Christ, not Donald Trump, or anyone else. But we are now in the “Last Trump” presidential term and we know that the Rapture will happen at the “Last Trump”. While it may simply be a play on words I believe God gave Trump His name for this very reason. To be a sign to the world that He is returning and it will be Trump that helps create the distracting global outlook that turns the people from gloom and doom to hope that humanity can still save their planet

When the nations have become sufficiently distracted, Christ will come at an hour when the undiscerning are not expecting Him. This goes for many in the Church as well as those of the world. And when Christ does come, the time of ecstasy over the newfound global outlook will be swallowed up in a time of unequaled fear over the disappearance of millions of believers …and the time of Antichrist and the Beast system will begin its dark ascension …from the pit of Hell.

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened. “ Matthew 24:22

Gaza Belongs to Israel

As I was reading through the book of Genesis last month, I noticed something that speaks directly to one of the hottest topics of our day. In Genesis 26:2-4, we have the record of the Lord reiterating the Abrahamic Covenant to Isaac:

“And the Lord appeared to him [Isaac} and said, ‘Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you. Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed.”

What makes this so intriguing is the location God chose to affirm His promise of the Land in which He would later include Jacob and all of his descendants.

“Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines” (Genesis 26:1).

Do you see it? Isaac was in the land of the Philistines when the Lord appeared and told him not to leave the Land that He promised to Abraham and his “offspring.” This is the only recorded instance of the Lord directly including Isaac in the everlasting covenant of the Land (see also Psalm 105:7-11), and it happened while the Patriarch was in Philistia, or what we know today as Gaza.

The Philistines became a thorn in Israel’s side before and during the forty-year reign of King Saul; the Jewish people suffered greatly from their vicious and cruel attacks. King David later subdued them and incorporated their territory along the Mediterranean Sea into his kingdom.

More recently, Satan created Hamas to oppose Israel similar to how the Philistines treated Israel so long ago. These Arabs are not descendants of this ancient people that have long since vanished, but just like them, Hamas possesses a fierce and murderous hatred toward the Jewish people. And they live in the exact same area that the Philistines inhabited in ancient times.

President Trump’s Plan

I began working on this article before President Trump announced his plan to remove all the current occupants of Gaza, take possession of it, and rebuild it into a resort similar to that of the French Riviera. At the February 4 news conference, he also voiced his opposition to a two-state solution as the way to peace in the region.

His statements most certainly came as welcome news for Israel. The clearing out of all their brutal and barbaric enemy from Gaza would remove a constant threat from their border. Even if the US governs it for the near future, it’s far better than the status quo.

The President, however, faces fierce opposition to his plan. First, no Arab nation wants the Gazans living within its borders. Egypt has amassed a host of tanks and other military forces close to its border with Gaza because, at least in part, it doesn’t want them entering their nation (and for good reason). According to Amir Tsarfati’s Telegram recent post, Jordan is ready to go to war with Israel if that’s what it takes to stop the Palestinians from migrating into their territory.

Second, the UN, along with nations such as Russia and Germany, have voiced strong, unrelenting opposition to Trump’s plan.

Third, Saudi Arabia maintains it won’t normalize diplomatic ties with Israel apart from the existence of a Palestinian State, which coincides with the world’s obsession with implementing a two-state solution, which most likely would retain Hamas’ control of Gaza.

So, is Trump’s plan dead in the water? Or did he have another purpose for making such a bold proposal?

Prophetic Implications

Regardless of what happens in the coming months or years with Gaza or the Middle East, the Bible says that someday the world’s passion to divide Israel and Jerusalem will prevail (Joel 3:1-3). Any agreement that brings peace to the region will be temporary at best until Jesus returns to set up His kingdom.

At the moment, a coalition of nations plan to meet at the United Nations in early June 2025 with the intent of settling on a Middle East peace accord of either a seven or ten-year duration. I believe it’s more than likely that they will somehow incorporate Saudi Arabia’s idea of a two-state solution into their proposed peace plan.

I don’t say this because I’m a pessimist or desire to see Trump’s bold initiatives fail. I do so because the Bible long ago predicted the world’s current obsession with Jerusalem, the dividing of the city and the Land, and the eventual peace accord between Israel and the antichrist (Zechariah 12:1-3; Daniel 9:27).

Sometime in the future, after the Rapture, the coming “man of lawlessness” will step out of the shadows and take over the reins of the Middle East peace negotiations. The Apostle Paul tells us that he cannot make his identity known until after Jesus’ appearing and our disappearing (2 Thessalonians 2:3-8).

I don’t know what will happen between now and the Rapture, but as I witness the turmoil and angst that exists over Gaza, I cannot overlook the significance of the Lord’s choice to confirm His Land covenant with Isaac while the Patriarch was residing in that exact same area.

Long ago, God staked His claim on Gaza, and when Jesus reigns over the nations (Revelation 20:1-10), it will become a place of great beauty. Perhaps during His millennial reign, with resurrection and immortal bodies, we will walk along its shores in amazement at how He transformed it into a place with such breathtaking views everywhere we look.

As is readily apparent every day, the Trump haters are back in full “derangement syndrome” mode. This delusion includes that embraced by the so-called scientists who give us the Doomsday Clock.

These doomsdayers have, as of the January 20, 2025, installment of the Donald J. Trump presidency, begun the second hand of their Doomsday Clock clicking forward, setting it at 89 seconds until midnight.

Midnight, in their terms, is when the world will come to its end in a gigantic nuclear catastrophe. They tell us this is the closest the world has come to that midnight cataclysm.

So, as that famous New York Yankee philosopher Yogi Berra put it: “It’s déjà vu all over again.”

Doomsdayers’ Diatribe

Six days into the presidency of Donald J. Trump, the humanistic gurus of the community known as the “atomic scientists” raised a ruckus. They lamented that we are within two and a half minutes of nuclear midnight. This is supposed to mean that global catastrophe is closer, perhaps, than it has ever been.

The atomic scientists’ perception of the unthinking bumbling—or perhaps deliberate evil—of the new president makes the Doomsday Clock time-setters nervous indeed.

Their joint declaration states:

Both his statements and his actions as president-elect have broken with historical precedent in unsettling ways. He has made ill-considered comments about expanding the U.S. nuclear arsenal. He has shown a troubling propensity to discount or outright reject expert advice related to international security, including the conclusions of intelligence experts. And his nominees to head the Energy Department and the Environmental Protection Agency dispute the basics of climate science.

I have written in these commentaries for many months that the globalists’ key rallying point for trying to bring about the new world order they seek has been global warming. It is now called “climate change.” The Luciferian rant is ratcheting up in every aspect of geopolitical atmospherics. However, we can expect, I have absolutely no doubt, an even more massive uptick in the assault. Climate change will be the spear tip of the campaign against God’s order of things as we move deeper into this administration.

The scientists in question collectively issued the accusation—highly disturbing, in their view—that Trump, during the presidential campaign, talked about the need to increase and upgrade nuclear weapons capability. At the same time, they ranted that he spoke against their and the general scientific community’s overwhelming consensus that climate change poses a threat beyond any other to the well-being of the planet.

All the while, they’ve said nothing of former President Obama’s trying to anger Russia’s Vladimir Putin in the last months of the Obama administration – a thing that gave Putin fodder to proclaim the need to further increase the Russian nuclear arsenal.

Like in every other instance of hypocritical treatment by media and the humanistic, scientific community, Obama gets a pass while their collective ire descends full force on the one who defeated them in the American electoral process.

They ignored that international relations have deteriorated dangerously during the Obama years; rather, they noted fawningly that the former president in 2010 called for a nuclear-free world.

At the same time, they pointed out angrily their convoluted and quasi-accurate assessment that Trump suggested South Korea and Japan might consider developing nuclear weapons since North Korea and even China represent growing threats. They berated Trump and his six-day-old administration for having no “firm plans” to extend the controversial “Iran nuclear deal.”

The doomsdayers further castigated Trump and laid out their great fear his winning the American presidency has wrought:

The political situation in the United States is of particular concern. The Trump transition team has put forward candidates for cabinet-level positions (especially at the Environmental Protection Agency and Energy Department) who foreshadow the possibility that the new administration will be openly hostile to progress toward even the most modest efforts to avert catastrophic climate disruption.

Please believe me. This is not the last we will hear of the climate-change madness.

Those of the Million Woman March and the “if-it-feels-good-do-it” crowd lost their political fast-track to succeeding they were previously on. These, as we have witnessed, are furious to the point of displaying mental instability. But the globalist elite of this world, working to bring in Antichrist’s regime—even if unknowingly—are exceedingly angrier and more determined that this president will be removed by hook or crook.

We already hear the volume increase on talk of impeaching him. There are more than mere hints that a coup d’état is in the wishful thinking of the angriest of the nation’s power brokers.

It does not, nor should it, surprise that this level of rebellion is raising its ugly, serpent-like head. We only have to go to the great book of Revelation to understand the extremes to which fallen man will go when they don’t get their way.

There will be a rebellion of the most horrific magnitude ever at the end of the Millennium—the thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ. This uprising will occur, we are told through prophecy, after the rule of the only perfect ruler in all of human history.

And this gets us back to the Doomsday Clock scientists’ warning about Trump causing the destruction of the earth because of his declaring as lunacy their climate-change mantra. Well, maybe it’s I—not Trump—who call it lunacy, but he adamantly opposes it, and them, nonetheless.

The fact that Revelation 20:7-9 tells us there will be this last, satanically led rebellion in an attempt to dethrone the Creator of all things lets us know there will still be a planet Earth despite President Donald Trump and even seven years of Tribulation.

Also, it proves, in my estimation, the lunacy of the doomsdayers’ diatribe.

Working Against American Values at Every Level: Why US Withdrawal from UNESCO Must Be Top Priority

This corrupt agency, dominated by communists and anti-American extremists, is at the forefront of sexualizing and indoctrinating children around the world. Trump just ordered a review of U.S. involvement. It’s time to end all American support immediately.

UNESCO was ostensibly founded for advancing peace and development through “education,” science and culture. When 37 governments created UNESCO as a “human rights”-oriented organization in November 1945, it was essentially a western entity, dominated by western funding. All initial plans had to be reviewed with the increasing number of countries dominated by the Soviet Union joining UNESCO.

Thus, the original UNESCO alliance of Western States working on establishing a post-fascist, liberal order in Nazi-destroyed Europe, gradually lost its predominant influence when membership of Third World regimes surged amid “decolonization.” The U.S. found that it was losing money to an organization over which it had limited influence and which had little positive impact.

Appalled by its politicization, financial mismanagement and unfair treatment of Israel, the American government twice ended its membership. The administration of President Ronald Reagan formally announced on December 30, 1983 its intention to withdraw from the UN Agency. Twenty years later, the United States rejoined the organization in October 2003. The announcement by President George W. Bush came around the one-year anniversary of 9/11, and was part of Washington’s efforts to rally the international community around its global war on terrorism.

It was the Obama administration that paved the way for President Trump’s decision to withdraw for the second time. Bound by U.S. law, Obama froze U.S. contributions to UNESCO in 2011 after the UNESCO General Conference voted to admit Palestine as a member state of the organization, with the support of Bulgarian Director-General Irina Bokova, a proud communist finger-puppet product of the KGB University in Moscow.

Hence, in October 2017, President Trump announced that the United States would leave UNESCO, citing mounting arrears, the need for fundamental reform of the organization, and the persistent anti-Israel bias at UNESCO as key reasons for the decision.

Under the financial and political influence of Communist China, UNESCO was never an accountable partner organization for America to rely on, and there was no room for the Biden administration to consider returning to it. Still, in his crusade against President Trump’s decisions, President Biden overruled this decision to withdraw and moved towards rejoining UNESCO and restoring U.S. funding to the globalist body. This was one of the many unfortunate decisions by President Biden.

Today UNESCO is a politicized bureaucracy seeking to centralize control over all “education” — really indoctrination, sexualization, and more, as this publication has documented over many years. It has no impact on contemporary challenges and works hand in hand with the mass-murdering Communist Chinese regime to limit freedom of expression, among other precious rights.

President Trump is rightly skeptical of globalist international organizations such as World Health Organization and UNESCO, which he sees as potential threats to national sovereignty. Managing international affairs outside the UN must be therefore at the top of the international agenda for his administration.

On January 22, 2025, President Donald Trump announced the U.S. withdrawal from the WHO. For obvious reasons, not least of which is its outrageous handling of COVID, Trump has long been critical of the U.N. health agency, and his administration officially began withdrawing from the WHO in July 2020.

Unfortunately for Americans and the world, four years ago, then-President Joe Biden halted the U.S. exit from the WHO. The text of Monday’s January 22 executive order cites the “organization’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global health crises, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states,” as reasons for the U.S. withdrawal.

America should therefore keep marginalizing and withdrawing from organizations that have become a playground for political opponents to the United States, no longer capable of delivering any real value, such as UNESCO. In fact, withdrawing from UNESCO is just as important, if not more so, than withdrawing from WHO, because UNESCO is indoctrinating the next generation of children to replace Western values with progressivism and globalism.

The newly appointed U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio stated unambiguously on X : “The direction the President has given for the conduct of our foreign policy is clear. Every dollar we spend, every program we fund, every policy we pursue must be justified by the answer to one of three questions: Does it make America safer? Does it make America stronger? Or does it make America more prosperous?”

The U.S. taxpayer money squandered on UNESCO in no way offers a positive answer to any of those questions, and it is expected that President Trump will once again make the right decision by keeping the United States out of this organization.

Western diplomats have regularly complained about UNESCO’s weak leadership and the politicization of its activities and have expected structural reforms and major efforts to depoliticize the U.N. body. This proved to be an insurmountable task for former French socialist minister of culture, Audrey Azoulay, and current head of the UN agency. Since the election of Azoulay, the crisis in management led to a crisis of visibility and subsequently to a crisis of credibility. Seven years after her election, UNESCO suffers from an inflated bureaucracy, damaging decision-making and colossal financial failures.

Over time, UNESCO has been stripped of the substance of its programs. It also dismantled most of its expertise hubs, some of which had been created with American assistance. This process of weakening the agency was complemented by the total lack of accountability by senior UNESCO officials.

In a recent interview with a French newspaper, the French Director General, Audrey Azoulay, boldly bragged that if Trump left UNESCO again as he did in 2018, it would not jeopardize the organization. According to UNESCO’s Director General, the potential U.S. withdrawal would make little difference to the Agency’s finances. Curiously, the U.S. Permanent Representative to UNESCO, who had been appointed by President Biden, Ambassador Courtney Diesel O’Donnell, did not react to this statement. She has since resigned as ambassador and left the French capital shortly after President Trump’s election.

Last December, I wrote to the President of the General Conference of UNESCO copying the Bureau of the Executive board – the two governing bodies – with a request for comments on the following three issues:

firstly, senior internal officials who are potential candidates using taxpayer money to campaign for the position of the next Director General?
secondly, what is your position regarding Director General Audrey Azoulay’s statement to the French press that the USA only contributes 8% of UNESCO’s total budget?
finally, what steps are you considering to clarify and investigate the recent official trip to Morocco by UNESCO’s Director General as part of the French delegation led by President Macron during his state visit to that country?

My written request for comment remained unanswered until publication of this editorial. Neither the President of the General Conference, Ms. Simona Mirela Miculescu, the Romanian Ambassador to UNESCO, nor the Chairperson or the members of the Bureau of the Executive Board, which includes the Permanent Representative of the United States, bothered to reply.

This says a lot about the status of governance at UNESCO, and the way in which high-level diplomats deal with journalists’ reasonable requests. UNESCO is the only UN agency supposedly concerned with the promotion of freedom of expression and the protection of journalists. And yet, this priority seems to have been lost under the CCP control of UNESCO and appears only on paper. In fact, UNESCO under Azoulay has doubled down on its outlandish attacks on free speech, as I documented for The Epoch Times more than a year ago.

Clearly, all 194 Member States and 12 Associate Members accept that UNESCO’s Director General, Audrey Azoulay of France, allows members of her staff to campaign with taxpayers’ money. Nor do they have a problem with the Director General ostensibly violating the Constitution.

It is deeply concerning for UNESCO’s governance that neither the President of the General Conference, nor of the Executive Board, nor even one of the 194 ambassadors accredited to UNESCO have bothered to ask the Director General to clarify the situation and be held to account. This sheds further light on the many reasons why the United States should withdraw from the UN outfit without further delay.

Whatever the causes of its moral failure and chronic political and financial deficiencies, there can be no doubt that this is an organization in a state of irreversible crisis. Unable to meet basic standards of accountability, with governing bodies in limbo and a President of the General Conference heading for irrelevance, UNESCO today is not an asset for America. In fact, it is flagrantly working against precious American values at every level.

Therefore, UNESCO must not be part of the current administration’s international agenda to increase its global influence and protect and expand fundamental freedoms around the world. All eyes are now on President Donald Trump to succeed in withdrawing from UNESCO in 2025 as he did in 2018.

It’s difficult to keep up with the government waste and corruption that is being exposed by the Trump Administration. In every government agency, there has been millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars spent on horrible leftist agenda items. People have been unjustly incarcerated, essentially as political prisoners. Big money has been given to terrorist organizations. America has been funding the teaching of homosexual doctrine to children, not only in our own classrooms, but to children around the world. Here now is the hard word: there is only one political entity in America’s two-party system that is responsible for using government as it slush fund to enrich party faithful and indoctrinate the world with woke.

The theft and corruption of the Democratic Party is unbelievable. Yes, one has to suspend disbelief to believe it. The party cries crocodile tears every time there is a natural disaster or gun violence or snub of a transgender or whatever to gain sympathy for their causes. Then they use those tragic incidents to cover up what they are actually doing that undermines the national security and makes every American citizen live a lesser, more imperiled life. The corruption is mindboggling. In the harsh reality that the Trump Administration is actually line by line exposing this horror show, herds of Democrat lawmakers are roaming door to door to government agencies trying to stop the exposures. They are saying auditing the budgets of these government agencies is a threat to democracy.

It’s a threat to democracy all right—a threat to the Democratic Party’s brand of democracy—a Marxist statist society where your money is collected and then it’s redistributed to every form of graft and corruption known to mankind. ‘Oh, you are just hashing on the Democrats’ some may say. Well, look at the news. See who is scrambling. See who is trying to stop the exposure. See who is filing lawsuits in Democrat-controlled courts to prevent exposing this corruption. It’s not Republicans, unless they are aligned with the Democrats. Rather than working hand in hand with the President to see that this corruption is brought to an end for the benefit of all Americans, these Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to keep their corruption.

This reminds me of Ezekiel 8:8-12 where the Lord brought Ezekiel to the door of the temple court, “Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall… Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel…And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel…Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not…” The government is like inside the temple walls. The 70 ancients are like the Democratic Party leadership. And the abominations are like what we are seeing. May they all be exposed and be banished forever. Mindboggling corruption.

Daily Devotion: From Temptation to Desire to Sin

In our fractured, isolated culture, there’s still one experience common to everyone: the temptation to do wrong. No one is immune from it.

But where does temptation come from? The default answer for many people is the devil. And there’s truth in that. But he’s not the only source. As James points out, temptation comes from us, too. We play a key role in our own temptation. Where there’s no desire on our part, there’s no temptation.

You see, temptation is a process. It’s not a sin to be tempted; it’s an invitation to sin. In other words, it’s not the bait, it’s the bite. If you don’t take the bait when you’re tempted, you haven’t sinned. Having a bad thought come to your mind doesn’t mean you’re evil; it just means you’re being tempted by evil. Just like everyone else.

The question is, how interested are you in the temptation? How does it align with your desires? Do you have the urge to sample it?

At a farmers’ market, a man offered me a free sample of soup. My first response was to say no. Soup to me is like salad—it’s what I eat to warm up for real food. But the man persisted. So I took a little sip from his tiny little cup. Next thing I know, I’m carrying home a bag of frozen soup that I purchased. And it started with a free sample.

The devil uses a similar strategy. He says, “I know you would never do this because you’re such a godly person, but just take this thought for a spin. Or just take a little nibble. It’ll be fun. You don’t have to act on it.” That’s how temptation works. It starts in your mind. And then, as James says, “our own desires . . . entice us and drag us away.”

“And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.” Sometimes when you act on an evil thought, you get a momentary pleasure. Almost immediately, however, if your conscience is working, guilt kicks in. You feel regret, remorse, and a spiritual deadness because you’re separated from God.

Your first reaction may be to blame the devil or someone who led you astray. But you’re the one who’s responsible for your actions. Once you accept that truth, you can claim the promise of 1 John 1:9: “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness” (NLT).

And don’t lose sight of one other truth from God’s Word: “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him” (James 1:12 NLT).

They will also set a shining example for their family. Seeing you patiently endure testing and temptation may inspire your family members to patiently endure their own testing and temptation.

God always provides a way out for us when we’re tempted. He stands ready to help us—and then to reward us when we resist. How amazing is that?
