In the aftermath of October 7th, the charge of genocide has been increasingly leveled against Israel, particularly in the wake of the Israeli military response to the appalling antisemitic terror attack. The global stage has witnessed a surge of anti-Israel protests, ostensibly driven by a desire to halt what is perceived as the genocide of Palestinians. However, amidst the fervor of these demonstrations, a glaring irony remains unacknowledged—the entities responsible for these attacks (Hamas) openly declare their genocidal intent for Israel and the Jewish people.

The ensuing debate on this issue has been further complicated by the unexpected alignment of voices across the political spectrum. For example, US Representative Rashida Talib, known for her anti-Israel position, accused then-US President Joe Biden of supporting genocide against Palestinians. Even more surprising is the resonance of such rhetoric among staunch conservatives. Candace Owens, a prominent figure in the American conservative movement with a large online following, echoed similar sentiments, labeling Israel’s actions in Gaza as “genocide.”

Adding to the cultural confusion, Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News political commentator with a significant platform, hosted Palestinian Christian Munther Isaac on his popular show. Isaac, a fervent anti-Zionist, seized the opportunity to criticize the Western church for its perceived silence on what he said was a genocide taking place in Gaza. In his 2023 Christmas sermon, he said this about what is happening in Gaza: “If you fail to call this a genocide, this is on you; this is a sin and darkness you are willingly embracing.” Carlson allowed Isaac’s assertions to go unchallenged and without sufficient context regarding why the war started – as a response to the horrific brutality of Hamas.

The issue swiftly escalated to an international arena with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) hearing in January 2024, where South Africa brought charges of genocide against Israel for its military operations in Gaza. However, many observers viewed this trial as mere puppetry, undermining the credibility of the court and complicating efforts to attain justice and resolution.

True or False?

In the midst of these swirling allegations and counter-allegations, the fundamental question persists: Are these claims of genocide against Israel true? To answer this, it is imperative to peel away the layers of political rhetoric and ideological warfare, seeking clarity on the definition and characteristics of genocide.

The term “genocide” traces its roots to Rafael Lemkin in 1944, specifically denoting Nazi Germany’s systematic extermination of Jews during World War II. Lemkin combined the Greek word for race, geno with the Latin suffix from the word kill –cide. At its core, genocide involves the deliberate intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group—a definition enshrined in the 1948 UN Geneva Convention on Genocide. Article II of the convention reads:

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group, as such:

a. Killing members of the group;

b. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

c. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

d. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

e. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group

Contrary to the allegations, demographic data presents a stark contradiction, with the Palestinian population experiencing a significant increase since 1948. Israel maintains that its military operations in Gaza are singularly aimed at combating terrorism by removing Hamas therefore protecting its citizens from future harm, and seeking to rescue those who were brutally abducted on October 7th, rather than perpetrating genocide. While civilian casualties are a tragic and unfortunate reality of conflict, it should be clear that Hamas, the aggressor, bears culpability for this. As the controlling government in Gaza, they had a responsibility to their own people, they showed no concern for them when they committed this attack, knowing full well it would bring strong repercussions. In addition, it is worth noting that many civilian deaths are because Hamas operate from civilian areas such as schools and hospitals, thereby violating international humanitarian law.

Indeed, the Hamas charter openly advocates for Israel’s obliteration, underscoring its genocidal intent. For example, here are some statements found within the charter:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” (Preamble)

“The land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [Holy Possession] consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. No one can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.” (Article 11)

“The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews’ usurpation, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.” (Article 15)

The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.” (Article 7)

The enemies of Israel frequently issue calls for the annihilation and murder of Jews, yet these sentiments often get completely ignored amidst the fervor of anti-Israel protests. The current war categorically does not meet the criteria to be classed as genocide and should not be labelled as such. Israel has repeatedly given away its military advantage by announcing to civilians which area will be attacked so they can leave. It has also repeatedly paused its military operations, opened humanitarian corridors for civilians to escape and airdropped leaflets with warnings of imminent attacks as well as providing humanitarian aid. These are not the actions of a nation seeking to commit genocide. Whereas as an unprovoked, unexpected assault on innocent civilians which left over 1200 dead and 200 taken hostage, is clearly within the remit of a genocidal threat.

The charge of genocide against Israel is not merely a legal or political issue but a deeply moral one. It is rooted in a phenomenon known as Holocaust inversion—a distortion tactic that equates Israelis with Nazis, thereby perpetuating antisemitism and historical revisionism. By shifting the moral responsibility for genocide, Holocaust inversion also contains elements of Holocaust denial—a dangerous trend that threatens to undermine the truth and perpetuate hatred.

As Christians, we are called to uphold the principles of justice, compassion, and truth. We must navigate these complex issues with discernment, rejecting the allure of divisive rhetoric and standing firm against antisemitism in all its forms. In the face of this challenge, may the Church be guided by the power of the Holy Spirit to champion the cause of truth and support the Jewish people amidst the satanic onslaught of antisemitism.

Antichrist’s Power Base

The stunning swiftness of moves made by this newly elected—or would that be re-elected—president brings into question just where the stage-setting for Antichrist’s ultimate base of power stands.

I refer to the fact that Mr. Trump has left America’s western European allies standing on the sideline and gawking from a distance as he enters negotiations with Vladimir Putin. The American president has unilaterally taken on the peace initiative in seeking to put an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

His administration’s operatives, in preparing the way for the peace probe taking place, have stated that European nations will be consulted, but may not be present at the direct negotiations between Trump and Putin. This, to my way of thinking, is no doubt insulting to those governments. But I think it perhaps somehow will be instrumental in making Europe the most powerful governmental and military power to exist on earth.

This is a possible future reality when considering the Bible prophecy truth that the one who will be Antichrist will come from Europe—that is, from within the region surrounding the ancient city of the Caesars. Daniel the prophet gave us clue to this eventuation:

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:26–27)

The “prince that shall come,” of course, refers here to the one who will be Antichrist. That prince, Daniel prophesies, will “confirm the covenant” with Israel and “the many.” This is the peace that begins the seven years of Tribulation. That prince comes out of the Roman Empire, whose capital, of course, was Rome. We know this will be a man from Rome, because it is the Roman Legion, led by General Titus, that in AD 70 destroyed the city and the sanctuary, as given in this prophecy.

Europe will be central to the ascension of this, history’s last and worst dictator. He will also be the most powerful tyrant to ever rule on earth. He will cause all, no matter their status, to obey him, or else die through execution or starvation.

So, in surveying the present status of this geopolitical nucleus out of which that future Antichrist will arise, it’s more than interesting to witness the almost inconsequential regard with which European leadership is being treated.

This announcement by the US president frames the situation.

It’s happening. President Donald J. Trump is DONE playing games with NATO and the corrupt Ukrainian war machine. The message is clear: either Europe agrees to terms and ends this disastrous war in Ukraine, or the United States pulls out of Europe completely. No more free rides. No more U.S. troops babysitting Europe while their leaders drag their feet. Trump is a man of action, and he just put NATO and Ukraine on notice. Three weeks. That’s all they have. If they don’t sign the deal, America is out. And I believe this treatment of Europe we’re witnessing at this time in actuality is beginning a process that will result in establishing Antichrist’s power base.

The prophecy Jesus the Ascended Lord gave John to write foretells the power of this future “beast,” as he is called.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:4)

Perhaps we’re watching through our hourly news at present the foundational moments of the construction of such awesome power as described here.

The Europeans now understand that America’s president isn’t playing around in the matter of the seemingly endless war between Russia and Ukraine. He has pushed that leadership aside, obviously considering them as blocking progress in bringing the bloody war to an end.

They’re now looking into what happens when America stops providing the greatest amount of money and military assets for Europe’s defense, which has been the case since World War I. Donald J. Trump has indicated in strong geopolitical, diplomatic language that things will change in this regard. The following report further provides some food for thought.

US President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine has yet to be made public, but it is already abundantly clear that he expects Europe to play a far bigger role in the continent’s future security and the fight against Russian aggression. With the United States now looking to scale back its transatlantic commitments at a time when an openly revisionist Russia is embracing an expansionist agenda, European leaders must urgently adjust to the new geopolitical realities and prioritize security.

The Trump administration has moved rapidly to underline its expectations regarding an increased European role in the continent’s defense. Just days after his inauguration, Trump used an appearance at the World Economic Forum to reiterate his call for European NATO members to increase defense spending to five percent of GDP…

The starkest message so far has come from US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. “Safeguarding European security must be an imperative for European members of NATO,” he told a February 12 meeting of Ukraine’s Western allies in Brussels. “Europe must provide the overwhelming share of future lethal and non-lethal aid to Ukraine.” (“Europe Must Prepare to Defend Itself in an Increasingly Multipolar World,” Mykola Bielieskov,

Increasingly, European leaders are seeing the handwriting on the wall, as the following validates:

The USA has, among other things, declared that Europe cannot count on American support for peacekeeping forces in the event of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

European leaders fear that the USA’s President Donald Trump will make a peace agreement with Russia’s Vladimir Putin, over the heads of Ukraine and Europe.

Europe is aware that its relationship with the USA has entered a new phase, according to Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The Paris meeting was unanimous that a “significant increase in defense spending is absolutely necessary,” he summarized.

There is no point in getting irritated about our ally USA saying “spend more, get stronger, become more resilient,” said Tusk.

Leaders from Germany, the UK, Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, and Denmark, as well as the EU and NATO, participated in the meeting. (“Europe after the Meeting: Must Build Up,” Sweden Herald, February 17, 2025)

This president, I believe, could well be fulfilling, unwittingly, the end-times movement toward Europe’s development of a unified military power base. When the Rapture occurs, America will be in disarray perhaps more than any other nation due to Christian influence within government and military being no longer here.

I believe the probability is strong that a greatly weakened US, because of disunity, will at a future time have to join with a powerfully unified European defense consortium. This coalition will then possess America’s awesome nuclear arsenal, along with all of its technological war-making assets. This would certainly bring to fulfillment the prophecy: “Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

These sudden and forceful dynamic rearrangements involving Europe indicate, I’m convicted, how near might be Christ’s call in the Rapture to believers of this Church Age.

It is time as never before to deliver to those who don’t know our Lord, Christ’s soul-redeeming message:

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10)

In recent decades, the world has witnessed a dramatic shift in its moral compass. What once was considered universally right or wrong is now up for debate, and the lines between good and evil are increasingly blurred. This moral decline is particularly concerning for those who hold a biblical worldview, as it may signal the approaching judgment of God. As society moves further away from traditional values and biblical principles, it’s essential to examine the significance of this shift in light of prophetic scripture. Is society ripe for judgment? And what role does the decline of morality play in the unfolding of end-times scenarios?

The Decline of Traditional Values

To understand the full scope of this issue, it's important first to consider the traditional values that have historically underpinned Western society. For centuries, Judeo-Christian principles, rooted in Scripture, formed the foundation of laws, ethics, and social conduct. Concepts such as the sanctity of life, the institution of marriage, the importance of family, and the moral law of God were central to societal structures.

However, in recent years, these traditional values have been increasingly undermined. Laws that once protected the sanctity of life now allow for abortion on demand, and societal norms that once upheld the marriage covenant between one man and one woman are now being redefined. The push for gender fluidity, the normalization of homosexuality, and the celebration of transgenderism are just a few of the signs that society has abandoned its moral bearings.

The rise of secularism, relativism, and humanism has further weakened the moral fabric of society. As moral relativism takes root, people no longer believe in absolute truths but instead embrace the idea that morality is subjective - what’s right for one person may not be right for another. In this environment, the Ten Commandments, once considered the moral code for humanity, are increasingly disregarded or even vilified.

The influence of pop culture, the media, and the education system has played a crucial role in promoting these changes. What once was considered immoral or inappropriate is now accepted as normal. Shows, movies, and music have normalized behaviors such as promiscuity, substance abuse, and rebellion against authority. Children are exposed to these ideas at younger and younger ages, shaping their understanding of right and wrong in ways that contradict the moral teachings of Scripture.

The Consequences of Moral Decay

Moral decay, when unchecked, leads to the breakdown of society. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Romans, describes how people who reject God’s truth spiral into greater depravity. Romans 1:21-32 paints a stark picture of the consequences of rejecting God and embracing immoral behaviors:

“For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” (Romans 1:21-25)

In these verses, Paul describes a process of spiritual blindness and moral degeneration that follows a society’s rejection of God. The first step is a failure to honor God and acknowledge His truth. This leads to a darkening of the heart, and people begin to exchange God’s unchanging moral standards for their own flawed ideas. As a result, they engage in sinful practices, leading to further degradation.

This process is not limited to ancient Rome, it is a warning to all societies that abandon God’s truth. When a nation turns away from God, it opens the door for moral decay to spread like a virus, infecting every facet of life, from politics to education to entertainment.

The Biblical Connection to End-Times Prophecy

In light of these observations, it’s crucial to examine how the decline of morality relates to end-times prophecy.

Jesus warned in Matthew 24:12, “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.” The increase of lawlessness, rebellion against God’s commands, would mark a sign of the last days. As morality declines and people abandon God’s ways, love for God and love for others diminishes, giving way to cold hearts, cruelty, and sin.

The Apostle Paul also warns in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 about the conditions that will characterize the last days:

“But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

This passage paints a grim picture of human nature in the last days - selfish, proud, and immoral. It’s a description of people who are more concerned with their own desires and pleasures than with loving God and others. They hold to an outward form of godliness, but their actions and attitudes deny the power of godliness. This is the type of society that Scripture warns will exist just before the return of Christ.

In the context of these prophetic passages, the decline of morality we see today may be one of the key signs that we are nearing the fulfillment of these prophecies. As lawlessness and immorality increase, society becomes more ripe for judgment.

God’s Judgment on a Decadent World

The Bible is clear that God does not overlook sin. He is patient, giving people the opportunity to repent, but there is a limit to His patience. When a society reaches the point of no return, judgment is inevitable. Throughout Scripture, God’s judgment on sin is a consistent theme, from the flood in Noah’s day to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah to the future judgments described in the Book of Revelation.

In Revelation 18, the fall of Babylon is described as a judgment on a decadent and immoral society. Babylon represents a system of worldliness, idolatry, and immorality, and its judgment is swift and sure:

“The kings of the earth, who committed acts of immorality and lived sensuously with her, will weep and lament over her when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance because of the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’” (Revelation 18:9-10)

Babylon’s destruction is a symbol of the ultimate judgment that will come upon the world system that embraces immorality, idolatry, and rebellion against God. It serves as a warning to all nations and societies that reject God’s moral law. Just as God judged Sodom and Gomorrah for their wickedness, so too will He bring judgment upon the world in the last days.

The Bible also teaches that God will judge individuals according to their deeds. In Revelation 20:12-13, it’s written:

“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.” (Revelation 20:12-13)

This judgment will be based on the choices individuals make, whether they choose to live in obedience to God’s moral law or whether they reject it in favor of their own desires. The moral decline we see today is a stark reminder that people will one day stand before God and give an account for their actions.

A Call to Repentance

As society becomes increasingly morally bankrupt, Christians are called to be a light in the darkness. We are to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, proclaim the gospel of salvation, and call others to repentance. The Apostle Peter writes in 2 Peter 3:9:

“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

God’s patience is evident in the delay of His judgment. He is giving the world time to repent, but the day of reckoning is coming. Christians must take this opportunity to share the truth of the gospel and call others to turn from their sin and turn to Christ for salvation.

Conclusion

The moral decline we witness today is a troubling sign of the times. As traditional values erode and society embraces lawlessness, the world is becoming ripe for judgment. The Bible warns that in the last days, people will abandon God’s moral law, and the love of many will grow cold. Yet, even in the face of judgment, God is patient, offering time for repentance. As believers, we must be faithful in proclaiming the truth and calling others to repentance, knowing that the return of Christ is drawing near.

The question remains: Is society ripe for judgment? Based on the moral decline we see in the world today, it certainly seems that we are approaching the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The time to turn to God is now, for the day of judgment is coming swiftly.

What are the odds? On February 28th, we witnessed one of the most bizarre spectacles in the history of the White House on the exact same day that we witnessed a very unusual alignment of planets in the heavens. Needless to say, secularists will argue that this must have been a coincidence, because they do not think that God directs the course of history. But for those of us that believe in God, we know that Jesus specifically warned us that “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” in the days just before His return. We are most definitely living in a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and I am entirely convinced that the events that we just witnessed in Washington will move us even further in that direction.

Just hours after President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy argued in the Oval Office in front of the entire world, the seven other planets in our solar system all lined up “in a neat row” in the night sky…

On the evening of 28 February 2025, all seven of the other planets in the Solar System will appear in the night sky at the same time, with Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars all lining up in a neat row – a magnificent sky feast for the eyes known as a great planetary alignment.

It is not rare for a “planetary parade” that includes three or four other planets to occur.

But having every other planet in our solar system line up is a rare event indeed.

In fact, the next time that the seven other planets in our solar system will line up in the night sky will be in 2040…

Astronomers are telling us a seven-planet alignment like this won’t be visible again until 2040.

“Friday 28 February is the special date, with seven planets visible in the sky – if the night is clear,” says Associate Professor of Physics David Armstrong at The University of Warwick, UK.

“This ‘great planetary alignment’ won’t happen again until 2040, as it needs all the planets to be on the same side of the Sun.”

By itself, this planetary alignment is very noteworthy.

But the fact that it happened on the exact same day as the Trump-Zelenskyy meeting is truly incredible.

Prior to going to the White House, Zelenskyy “met with anti-Trump Democrats” who instructed him to “reject the terms of the mineral deal”…

“Just finished a meeting with President Zelensky here in Washington. He confirmed that the Ukrainian people will not support a fake peace agreement where Putin gets everything he wants and there are no security arrangements for Ukraine,” Murphy’s office posted on X at 11:15 a.m. Friday.

He attached a picture of Zelensky at a conference table, with Murphy seated on the opposite side.

Of course there are many that believe that Zelenskyy had already made up his mind before he even met with those anti-Trump Democrats.

In any event, we all know what happened next.

It was Zelenskyy’s third opportunity to sign the deal, and it was the third time that he declined to do so…

The earlier meeting with Dems undercuts wild claims that Trump and Vice President JD Vance staged an ambush. In fact, it was Zelensky who came with an ulterior motive.

The purpose of the meeting was to sign the mineral agreement that he and Trump representatives had negotiated. He had twice refused to sign it after promising to, and thanks to Murphy, we now know he had no intention of signing it Friday.

The drama in the White House actually worked in Zelenskyy’s favor, because European leaders rushed to his defense and they are now promising him all sorts of things.

As for Trump, for the fourth time Zelenskyy is claiming that he is “ready to sign” the deal…

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is “ready to sign” a deal to grant the U.S. access to his country’s rare earth minerals, days after President Donald Trump publicly berated him at the White House.

But Zelenskyy also just told the press that an agreement to end the war with Russia “is still very, very far away”…

A deal to end the war between Ukraine and Russia “is still very, very far away,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, adding that he expects to keep receiving American support despite his recent fraught relations with U.S. President Donald Trump.

“I think our relationship (with the U.S.) will continue, because it’s more than an occasional relationship,” Zelenskyy said late Sunday, referring to Washington’s support for the past three years of war.

Needless to say, the comments that Zelenskyy made were going to absolutely infuriate President Trump.

In response to those comments, Trump posted the following on social media…

“This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer! It is what I was saying, this guy doesn’t want there to be Peace as long as he has America’s backing and, Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated flatly that they cannot do the job without the U.S. – Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against Russia. What are they thinking?”

Trump wants to make a deal to end this war, and he needs Zelenskyy to be cooperative.

But Zelenskyy has no intention of giving Trump what he wants.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to conquer more territory…

Russian forces have advanced in Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts, as well as in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, according to the analytical project DeepState late on 3 March.

DeepState reported that Russian troops have made territorial gains near Pishchane in Donetsk Oblast, near Pohrebivka in Kursk Oblast, and in the areas of Nadiia and Zahryzove in Kharkiv Oblast.

If you are losing the war, you don’t get to dictate the terms of a peace agreement.

Zelenskyy doesn’t seem to understand this.

Of course the truth is that Zelenskyy doesn’t actually want peace.

Zelenskyy desperately wants to win the war, and he needs western troops to accomplish that goal.

We must not take the bait, because if we end up in a shooting war with Russia it is just a matter of time before it goes nuclear.

The argument that happened in the Oval Office on Friday destabilized the entire globe.

And it happened on the exact same day when all of the other planets in our solar system were aligning.

It is time to wake up, because the apocalyptic phase of World War III is nearly upon us.

Daily Jot: The Democratic Party Zelenskyy Cartel

The Marxist Democratic Party and mainstream media meltdown over President Trump standing up for America on Ukraine likely has a far deeper meaning than just Ukraine security. The US has given Ukraine over $300 billion since the Russian invasion. Where did all that money go? News reports of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his family’s lavish spending trips in Europe give a clue—here is a good Las Vegas bet that the Biden family and a gaggle of Democrats are far richer than they ever were. As evidenced by the partial exposure of USAID money, the Democrats and the deep state are experts at laundering money and pilfering the US taxpayer. Trump threatens to end all that.

Let us recall that infamous radio soundcheck on August 11, 1984, when President Ronald Reagan “jokingly” declared, “My fellow Americans, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.” Though possibly intended as a joke, the comment quickly escalated into an international incident. As someone who was involved in high-level politics at the time, I was never convinced that this was an unintentional joke by the President. He once again sent a strong message to the Soviet Union. And yes, it put the world on edge and the just like the Trump-Zelenskyy exchange, the Democrats and the media went crazy. Has it been so long since America had a real American as its leader that we have forgotten what putting our country first looks like?

Zelenskyy was disrespectful to America and to the office of President. Trump was right to boot him out of the White House and tell him not to come back until he wanted to talk peace. The Ukraine-Democrat romance is coming to an abrupt end. And that means that the money-laundering gravy train is also pulling in to the last stop on the line—Accountability. Surely, everyone that was on that train is going to be upset. Think I’m making this up? Just look at previous Biden family dealings in Ukraine that were exposed during the whole Hunter Biden laptop fiasco, that the Democrats and deep state tried characterizing as a Russian election interference operation. Hunter received his daddy’s pardon for all these things he didn’t do—and Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian crime cartel were all part of it.

Yes, we support the Ukrainian people and Russia is the aggressor. But no, there should be no more money flowing into Zelenskyy’s dictatorship and oligarchy crime cartel without strings attached. Like Trump said, the war with Russia would have lasted about two weeks if not for US weapons. Instead of trying to bully America into starting World War III with NATO support and more killing, Zelenskyy and his Democrat buddies need to be talking peace. It is high time the Democratic Party-Zelenskyy Cartel comes to an end and good faith to American citizens is restored. Proverbs 16:7 says, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Let us pray this is so as the president decides how to deal with these issues and the people who caused them.

Daily Devotion: The First Promise of a Savior

The first promise of a Savior came almost immediately after the need for one was created.

God designed a paradise for the first two humans. The Garden of Eden supplied their every need. Tending the garden gave them a sense of purpose and fulfillment. The perfect harmony of nature within the garden surely gave them a sense of emotional well-being. And God Himself walked in the garden in the cool of the evening. Because they spent so much time in God’s presence, it’s probably safe to assume that their every spiritual need was met.

Everything in the garden was available to Adam and Eve—except the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They were forbidden to eat it. God warned that if they disobeyed His one rule, the punishment would be death.

But one creature in the garden cared little about God’s rule. The serpent convinced Eve to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. She, in turn, gave some to Adam, who ate it as well. When they realized what they had done, they hid. They hid because they realized that they were naked and because they were afraid of God’s punishment for their sin.

Of course, nothing is hidden from God. Adam blamed Eve for their sin, and Eve blamed the serpent. God revealed to each of them the consequences of their actions. His judgment on the serpent is found in the passage above. In it, we find what some Bible scholars call the proto-evangelium—the first reference to God’s plan of salvation and redemption.

The woman’s offspring is Jesus. He would do what Adam and Eve couldn’t do: live a sinless life. God didn’t kill Adam and Eve. But He also didn’t waive the punishment of death. That punishment would fall to their sinless offspring.

“He will strike your head” refers to Christ’s ultimate victory over the serpent and his offspring. The apostle Paul wrote, “In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross” (Colossians 2:15 NLT).

And that ties into the final phrase of Genesis 3:15: “And you will strike his heel” (NLT). Christ’s ultimate victory would come at a cost. The shedding of sacrificial blood would be necessary. Genesis 3:7 says Adam and Eve sewed fig leaves together to cover their nakedness—and, in a sense, to cover their sin. But look what God does in verse 21: “And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife” (NLT). An animal had to be sacrificed to cover them—and their sin. Hebrews 9:22 says, “Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness” (NLT).

In the third chapter of Genesis, we find the first promise of Jesus, the Savior, who would shed His innocent blood to provide forgiveness and salvation to everyone who believes in Him.

What’s more, our ancient enemy was soundly defeated at the cross. There, he lost his stranglehold on the life of the human race. As a Christian, you have been set free by the power of Jesus Christ.
