Prophecy and Preparations: Is the Hope Jews Place in a Rebuilt Temple Misplaced?

As each year passes, it seems that many Jews are growing increasingly excited at the prospect of constructing a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The trouble is, most Jews believe that the exposed bedrock on which the Ark of the Covenant needs to rest is currently located where the Muslim Dome of the Rock now sits.

The piece of bedrock in question is known in Hebrew as “Even ha-Shetiyah” – the Foundation Stone. It is called the Foundation Stone because Jews believe the world was founded upon it. To support this conclusion, they refer to the passage in Isaiah 28:16: “Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.”

In fact, so central to Jewish teaching is the Foundation Stone that the Midrash Tanchuma, Kedoshim states: “As the navel is set in the center of the human body, so is the land of Israel the navel of the world; as Jerusalem is the center of the land of Israel, so is the sanctuary in the center of Jerusalem; as the holy place is in the center of the sanctuary, and the ark is in the center of the holy place, and the foundation stone is before the holy place, so from it the world was founded.”

Since the Romans destroyed the Second Temple in 70AD, it has been the heartfelt desire of the Jewish people to rebuild the Temple. This was a precedent set much earlier by Daniel while he was in exile. Daniel 9:17 reads: “Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate.”

In fact, to this day, many Orthodox Jews recite these words three times a day: “May it be Thy will that the Temple be speedily rebuilt in our own time.” Orthodox Jews not only believe a new Jewish Temple will benefit Israel, but also the rest of the world. A Statement of Principle from the Temple Institute website states this: “Every prophet of Israel, without exception, prophesied that the Temple would be rebuilt, ushering in a new era of universal harmony and peace unparalleled in the history of man. Thus, the ‘movement’ to rebuild the Holy Temple is not new. It was born almost 2,000 years ago, at the moment of the Second Temple’s destruction. For when the Holy Temple stood in Jerusalem, it was the soul of Jewish people… and the entire world… as we believe it will be once again.”

Amongst Orthodox Jews, the predominant school of thought is that since the Torah obligates the Jewish nation to rebuild the Temple whenever it becomes possible to do so, Israel has been in national sin since 1967 when they regained sovereignty over the Temple Mount but then allowed administration of it to continue under the direction of the Islamic Waqf. Therefore, in their view, Israel has continually experienced national problems because it has failed to rebuild. However, as we are all aware, until Israeli experts are permitted unrestricted access to the Temple Mount and its associated cave systems, Temple builders are unable to make any definitive plans for construction of the Temple. This is even more important due to the fact that there are various theories on the placement of the Temple within the Temple Mount precinct. Most favor a Temple which includes the Foundation Stone within the Holy of Holies, but other credible locations have been theorized and until they are ruled out, a degree of uncertainty remains.

Of course, remnant believers who are looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, are keenly aware that although there are no signs for the rapture, there is at least one major indicator it is close at hand. That indicator is the status of preparations for the next Jewish Temple to be built on the Temple Mount. That is because the end-times scenario in God’s prophetic Word calls for a Jewish Temple to be standing when the Antichrist rules the world. Therefore, it is no surprise that many of the preparations for the Third Temple have been completed. Aside from the geopolitical and religious ramifications stemming from the Temple’s location, all that remains is for the Ark of the Covenant to be revealed, which many within the Temple movement believe is hidden in the caves beneath the Temple Mount.

With all of that said, it is interesting that the Jewish people connect their chastening to the sin of not building the Temple. Hence, their view on correcting that sin is to focus on the Foundation Stone. But there is another Stone which they should be focusing on – the Stone which the builders rejected. It is their continued rejection of Messiah which is the true reason for their chastening.

Note what 1 Peter 2:6-8 says: “Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, ‘Behold I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.’ Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,’ and ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.’ They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.”

Did you notice that Peter quotes from Isaiah 28:16 but now confirms it has been fulfilled in the Man Christ Jesus? Because the religious leaders rejected Jesus as a fitting foundation upon which to build, their attention is focused on the bedrock which is located on the Temple Mount. So even though excitement is building in Israel about this rock, I will look forward to the day when the remnant of Israel come to know the Rock – Jesus the Messiah. After all, as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:11: “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Let’s continue to pray that the Jewish people will come to realize this truth!

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Matthew 24:6-7

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”

I am reading in the Book of Joshua right now, and the Jews are at war constantly to conquer the Promised Land. Every chapter almost is filled with war, battles, skirmishes, and conquests. The death toll is astonishing; entire cities, entire armies, entire peoples are wiped out and gone forever. There is bloodshed and destruction as the Jews take possession of the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Most of us have lived in times of relative peace. I have not lived in a war. There are wars all around us; when I was born in little Barbados, the Vietnam War was going on thousands of miles away. I am now 58 and there has not been a time in my life when a war of some kind was not in the news.

The British fought the Falklands War and the wars in the Middle East, which involved many countries, Kosovo, Iraq, Kuwait, and on and on we can go. But most of these wars were far away; yes, they involved US and Canadian troops, but they were far away. We experienced them through the news and various other media outlets.

In a more modern situation, many people do not understand the NATO Alliance; it is a treaty that was agreed to end the kinds of wars that came in WW1 and WW2. Many will recall that the US did not enter WW2 until after the attack on Pearl Harbor, but the war had been raging in Europe for some time. The NATO alliance is based on the idea that an attack on one member is an attack on all, with the US providing the heavy lifting in the event of an attack.

This is why the US has to keep Ukraine out of NATO; if they joined, then the US would be obligated to protect them and put US soldiers on the ground. This puts the US in direct line to be at war with Russia and perhaps China. The current administration does not want this to happen and put the US on a war path with the other two superpowers.

Sadly, Jesus told us that there are going to be wars and rumors of wars until He returns, and there is nothing we can do to stop that. It seems that men will always find a reason for war. Even in the current war in Ukraine, there have been so many deaths, so many innocent lives taken as collateral damage, and yet there is a thirst for war. God never intended this kind of carnage to take place, but man’s sin and the quest for power lead to wars.

The whole world thought that WW2 and the carnage from that would stop man’s appetite for war, but it seemed to whet it even further. In WW1, the world experienced more than 1,000,000 deaths in a conflict for the first time, and it was not even 35 years later that WW2 saw somewhere between 50-85 million deaths, depending on who is counting. WOW! It took just over 1,900 years since Jesus to get to 1,000,000 deaths in a war, and then we jumped to more than 50,000,000 in one war in less than a generation. We love war. Sinful man loves war.

There are even more wars to come. The anti-Christ will kill millions in wars; he will lead wars and attacks against various opponents and eventually attack Jerusalem itself, ending in the death of 5/6th of the people that come up with him. It is estimated by many that about 25% of the world’s population will die in the Tribulation. Now, we expect a massive loss of population in the Rapture, but even so, if there are 6,000,000,000 people left, that is the death of 1.5 billion people in a short 7 years. The carnage will be unfathomable. Once the attack against Jerusalem is done and Jesus wins (see Revelation 19:11 and on), there will be a period of 7 months that it will take to cleanse the land of the dead bodies. See Ezekiel 39:11-13:

“And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon-Gog. 12 For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. 13 All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day I display My glory, declares the Lord GOD.”

As you can see, even today, there are constant attacks on Jerusalem and Israel, and they will get worse and worse. Then, one day, a man will get them to agree to a 7-year peace treaty and gain fame for himself. But even that will be short-lived, and he himself will lead a war against Israel once they realize that he is not their savior and they begin to look for the real Messiah. In Revelation 13: 5-8:

“And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

The Jews realize too late that this messiah is not The Messiah but a complete fake and forgery. They rebel, and another war takes place against the Jews. Sadly, mankind has not yet had its fill of war. There are more and more wars to come, and millions more will die. Sin is expensive; the wages of sin is death, lots of death. One day soon, not too far from now, Jesus will make an end of wars for 1,000 years, and we will know what peace on earth really is. Take a look at Isaiah 2:4:

“He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”

Imagine a world where no one needs to learn war any longer. No need for soldiers and no guns; what a day that will be. But for now, until Jesus comes, there will be wars and rumors of wars. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.

As The World Prepares for World War 3, The Second Blood Moon Purim Eclipse Will Appear in The Sky Next Week

There sure have been a lot of signs in the heavens lately. For example, less than a week ago there was a very rare alignment of the 7 other planets in our solar system on the exact day of the argument in the Oval Office between President Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That should have gotten a lot more attention than it did. Next week, we will witness a sign in the sky that I believe is even more important. Could it be possible that God is trying to get our attention? If so, the vast majority of the population does not seem to be listening.

At various times throughout human history, Blood Moon eclipses have been associated with war. When I asked Google AI about this, I got the following response…

A lunar eclipse during the siege of Constantinople in 1453 and a lunar eclipse in 413 BCE are examples of eclipses that influenced history and were associated with war.

Interestingly, the Blood Moon eclipse that occurs next week falls during the Biblical festival of Purim, and the Biblical festival of Purim is the only Biblical festival that was actually created as the result of an armed conflict.

In the Book of Esther, God miraculously delivered His people from literally being annihilated from all lands within the Persian Empire.

Today, Persia is known as Iran.

So next week we will have a Blood Moon eclipse (which is associated with war) on the exact day of the only Biblical festival that was birthed out of an armed conflict.

That is pretty amazing, but the story doesn’t end there.

There was actually a Blood Moon eclipse during Purim in 2024, there will be a Blood Moon eclipse during Purim in 2025, and there will be a Blood Moon eclipse during Purim in 2026.

And all of these eclipses are occurring during a season of war.

What are the odds of that?

On October 7th, 2023 Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and a season of war in the Middle East began.

Just a few months later, we witnessed the first Blood Moon Purim eclipse.

In 2024, the first day of Purim was from sundown on March 23rd to sundown on March 24th.

The second day of Purim was from sundown on March 24th to sundown on March 25th.

It was on that second day of Purim in 2024 that the first Blood Moon Purim eclipse happened.

This year, the first day of Purim begins when the sun goes down on March 13th.

On the night that begins in the evening of March 13th and ends on the morning of March 14th, you will be able to witness a “mesmerizing” Blood Moon eclipse…

In March 2025, North America will experience a mesmerizing celestial event — a total lunar eclipse that will turn the moon into a stunning Blood Moon. Lunar eclipses are always an exciting spectacle for skywatchers, but this one promises to be especially captivating. Unlike solar eclipses, which require protective glasses, lunar eclipses can be enjoyed with the naked eye, making them accessible to everyone.

Amazingly, there will be another Blood Moon Purim eclipse in 2026.

Next year, the first day of Purim goes from sundown on March 2nd to sundown on March 3rd.

That is when the third Blood Moon Purim eclipse will occur.

Could God be trying to tell us that these three years are a season of war?

Without a doubt, 2024 was a year of war, and now it appears that the conflict in the Middle East is about to go to a whole new level.

Hamas is refusing to release the remainder of the hostages, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is warning Hamas of “consequences they cannot imagine” if that does not happen soon…

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Monday that Israel will not stop its military campaign in Gaza until Hamas is completely dismantled and all hostages are returned, warning the terror group of “consequences they cannot imagine” if captives are not released.

“We are preparing for the next stages of the war—on seven fronts,” Netanyahu said during a parliamentary debate, adding, “We will not stop until we achieve total victory—returning all our hostages, destroying Hamas’ military and governing power and ensuring Gaza is no longer a threat to Israel.”

At the same time, the IDF continues to relentlessly bomb military targets all over Syria…

Israeli forces on Monday struck a military site where arms belonging to the previous Syrian government were stored in Qardaha, in the mountains of Latakia province, northwest Syria, the military said in a post on its Telegram channel.

Syrian sources said the raids struck three former Syrian army assets, a radar station north of the city, weapons depot and a berth near Syria’s Mediterranean port of Tartous, which is a driving distance away from Latakia.

Because the mainstream media has been very quiet about this bombing campaign, most people in the western world don’t even know that it is going on.

But the really big event will be the bombing of Iran’s nuclear program. Once that happens, everything will change.

And it appears that Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are prepared to take action sooner rather than later…

Last month, Trump revived his “maximum pressure” policy against Iran. Trump reiterated that Tehran “can’t have a nuclear weapon” and vowed to be “very tough” if the country continues its current nuclear pursuits.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also indicated that, with U.S. support, Israel would “finish the job” of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, after a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Netanyahu and Rubio both emphasized their alignment with Trump’s administration in blocking Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Meanwhile, the Russians continue to bomb the living daylights out of the Ukrainians…

Ukrainian authorities reported a major Russian missile and drone strike on targets across the country on Tuesday night, with a top aide to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy demanding an immediate end to Moscow’s barrages as a condition for any peace deal to end Russia’s three-year-old invasion.

Ukraine’s air force said Russia launched 181 strike drones and three missiles into the country in the latest attack.

Russian troops gobble up more territory on an almost daily basis, and the more territory the Russians control the more leverage they have.

The Trump administration is expecting the Russians to make territorial concessions and allow European forces in Ukraine once a ceasefire deal has been reached, but both of those things will never happen.

In fact, we just got more confirmation that the Russians will “never” permit European troops on Ukrainian territory…

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko — a close ally of President Vladimir Putin — warned that the Kremlin “will never” accept a European troop deployment to Ukraine, as Moscow and Kyiv continue to maneuver for advantage in U.S.-sponsored peace negotiations.

I know that a lot of people are hoping for a peace deal, but a peace deal would require tremendous concessions on both sides.

The Russians figure that President Trump will cave in and give them what they want, but that isn’t going to happen.

And President Trump is anticipating that the Russians will make significant compromises, but that isn’t going to happen either.

In the end, I believe that President Trump will become very frustrated with the Russians.

On the other side of the globe, the Chinese are warning us that they are “ready to fight until the end”…

In a direct threat to Donald Trump, China’s representatives in America said: “If war is what the US wants, be it a tariff war, a trade war or any other type of war, we’re ready to fight until the end.”

The US has hit China with 20 per cent tariffs in response to what the White House considers to be Chinese inaction over the flow of fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, into America.

Beijing has responded by announcing plans to boost defence spending by 7.2 per cent and hit the US with reciprocal tariffs of 10 to 15 per cent on certain imports from March 10.

For now, our conflict with the Chinese is an economic one, but Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth insists that the U.S. military is “prepared” if it goes beyond that…

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declared early Wednesday that the US is “prepared” to go to war with China, hours after alarming threats from Beijing in response to President Trump’s stiff new tariffs.

“We’re prepared,” Hegseth said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” in response to China saying it was “ready to fight” any “type of war.”

“Those who long for peace must prepare for war,” Hegseth said, stressing it was important to “be strong.”

Lastly, I wanted to mention North Korea before I end this article.

The North Koreans just conducted test launches of two missiles that are capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and Kim Jong-un is stressing the need for his country to be at “full preparedness” for nuclear war…

North Korea conducted one of its periodical saber-rattling cruise missile tests on Wednesday, launching two missiles from its west coast under the supervision of dictator Kim Jong-un.

North Korean state media implied the missiles were capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and Kim said the test was part of achieving “full preparedness” for nuclear war.

As you can see, we are in a season of war.

And what we have been through so far is not even worth comparing to what is eventually coming.

How many times have I warned my readers about war in the Middle East, war with Russia and war with China?

Now we are here.

Somehow, during this season of war someone has arranged for Blood Moon eclipses to occur on Purim for three years in a row in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

You can stick your head in the sand and pretend that these signs don’t mean anything if you want, but none of us will be able to escape the cataclysmic events which are ahead.

Watchers at War: Divisive Spirits in the Last Days

In 2 Timothy 3:1-5, the Apostle Paul warns of the perilous times that will characterize the last days: "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these."

While this passage speaks broadly about the state of humanity, it serves as a sobering reminder for believers: even within the Church and prophecy community, the enemy seeks to sow seeds of division. Divisive spirits often target the fellowship of believers, exploiting non-salvific and extra-biblical issues to fracture the body of Christ.

This article explores the rise of these divisive spirits, particularly within the prophecy community, and calls for discernment, humility, and unity as we anticipate the Lord's return. Watchers at War: Divisive Spirits in the Last Days

The Rise of Divisive Spirits

Jesus warned that division would increase in the last days, even among His followers. In Matthew 24:10-12, He said: "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold."

While the prophecy community should be a source of encouragement and edification (1 Thessalonians 5:11), it has become, at times, a breeding ground for division. Debates over the timing of the Rapture, interpretations of symbolic imagery, and even speculative theories about current events have driven wedges between brothers and sisters in Christ.

This spirit of division is not from God but is a tactic of the enemy, who seeks to disrupt unity in the body of Christ. James 3:14-16 reminds us: "But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing."

Extra-Biblical and Non-Salvific Issues

Many divisions stem from debates over issues that are not explicitly addressed in Scripture or are not essential to salvation. Examples include:

The Timing of the Rapture: While the pre-tribulation Rapture view is well-supported biblically, some believers favor mid-tribulation, post-tribulation, or pre-wrath views. While such discussions can be fruitful, they often devolve into accusatory language and prideful attitudes.
The Identity of the Antichrist: Speculations about who the Antichrist might be or where he will arise are interesting but ultimately speculative. Scripture encourages us to watch and be prepared, not to engage in endless debates (Matthew 24:42).
Current Events: Some disagreements arise over whether certain events fulfill specific prophecies. While it is wise to discern the times (Matthew 16:3), divisive arguments over interpretations detract from the greater mission of proclaiming the Gospel.
Politics: Disagreements over political preferences (especially the 2024 U.S. Presidential election) can become a source of unnecessary division, detracting from the gospel's central message and the unity Christ calls believers to maintain.

These issues, while fascinating and worth discussing, do not impact the core tenets of Christianity: salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, and the promise of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9). When believers elevate non-salvific matters to a place of primary importance, they risk falling into pride and contention.

The Role of False Teachers and Accusers

Another factor contributing to division is the influence of false teachers and those who accuse fellow believers. While discernment is essential, some individuals use discernment ministries as platforms to attack others in the prophecy community. This behavior aligns more with the accuser of the brethren, Satan (Revelation 12:10), than with Christ’s call to edify and build up.

Titus 3:9-11 instructs us: "But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. Reject a factious man after a first and second warning, knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned."

We must distinguish between exposing heresy and fostering unnecessary division over disputable matters. Genuine heresy denies core doctrines of the faith, such as the deity of Christ or salvation by grace. Extra-biblical speculation, while worth examining, should not become a litmus test for orthodoxy.

A Spirit of Humility and Love

Scripture repeatedly calls believers to pursue humility, and love within the body of Christ. Paul exhorts us in Ephesians 4:1-3:"Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

When we encounter disagreements, particularly on prophetic matters, our response should be marked by grace and humility. Galatians 5:14-15 warns: "For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another."

Practical Steps to Combat Division

1. Stay Grounded in Scripture:

We must prioritize biblical truth over personal opinions or speculative interpretations. Acts 17:11 commends the Bereans for examining the Scriptures daily to see whether things were true.

2. Exercise Discernment:

Not every debate or disagreement requires engagement. Proverbs 26:4-5 advises:

"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will also be like him. Answer a fool as his folly deserves, that he not be wise in his own eyes."

3. Pray for Unity:

Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide the prophecy community and the Church toward unity and humility. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to bring our concerns to God with thanksgiving.

4. Focus on the Gospel:

Let the message of salvation in Christ remain central to all discussions. Romans 1:16 reminds us:

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."

5. Avoid Personal Attacks:

In debates, focus on ideas, not individuals. Colossians 4:6 instructs:

"Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person."

6. Remember the Enemy’s Schemes:

The true battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Division within the Church is one of Satan’s most effective strategies.

Conclusion: Standing United in Christ

As we approach the culmination of history and anticipate the Lord’s return, the prophecy community must strive for unity. Divisive spirits thrive when believers lose sight of the Gospel and elevate non-salvific issues above Christ’s command to love one another (John 13:34-35).

May we heed Paul’s exhortation in Romans 15:5-6:"Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

In these perilous times, let us stand firm, united in faith and love, as we eagerly await the blessed hope of Christ’s glorious appearing (Titus 2:13). By doing so, we will glorify God and fulfill our mission as His ambassadors in a divided and dying world.

A recent series of town halls held by Republicans in various states are being reported as grass roots opposition to Trump government accountability efforts. In reality, they are staged events where mainstream media sympathetic to Marxist Democratic resistance can make it appear that there is a majority of Americans that are against Trump. This is revealed in a recent story by the Washington Free Beacon citing red-district protests against Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were actually organized by left-wing groups. This is once again exposing how the news media and Marxist Democratic Party operatives work together to weaponize disinformation to gaslight the American public.

The Free Beacon reported on February 25, “When angry voters confronted Rep. Rich McCormick over DOGE at a town hall held in the Georgia Republican's deep-red district, the New York Times, Washington Post, and CBS cited the scene as proof of emerging bipartisan "backlash" over Elon Musk's efforts to slash government spending. CBS included a quote from one of the protest's organizers, Maggie Goldman, describing her only as a McCormick constituent.” In reality, she is a self-described “Democrat and Political Activist” who coordinated and organized volunteers for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign. In the 2020 election, She served as a “ballot cure” volunteer with the Democratic Party of GA “ensuring that voters in the general and runoff elections could fix errors with their rejected absentee ballots.”

The Free Beacon continued: “Across the country, similar protests played out at House GOP town halls and district offices. The demonstrations drove mainstream media coverage of brewing backlash against the Trump administration as the lower chamber left Washington, D.C., for a week-long recess. Well-funded liberal organizations organized many of them. The George Soros-funded groups Indivisible and MoveOn were at the center of the demonstrations. Both groups launched national "mobilization" efforts targeting the “Trump-Musk Agenda” and the “Trump-Musk coup” during the recess period.” MoveOn said, “MoveOn members and allies will show up at congressional-led town halls and congressional offices across the country, targeting House Republicans whose votes will be crucial in opposing Trump and Musk’s harmful policies.”

Both organizations are implying that Musk and Republicans are using the government as “a piggy bank for their own gain.” The media are reporting these themes overtime. Meanwhile, a Harvard-Harris poll conducted on February 19-20 of 2,443 registered voters indicated 76% of voters support DOGE’s efforts to reduce government waste. Romans 2:1 says, “For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.” Herein, the media, the Democrats and their Marxists support organizations are trying to make you think that Trump is fomenting a coup when they are the ones who doing such. The proof is in the government graft and corruption that DOGE has found and who benefited from it. This is another example of the disinformation designed to deceive Americans.

Daily Devotion: Abraham’s Visitor

Abram (who was later renamed Abraham) was given an extraordinary promise. God announced that He would bless Abram with a son and a land for his descendants. Those descendants would become a great nation—one that would bless all other nations.

God didn’t include a timetable with His promise. He wanted Abram and his wife Sarai (who was later renamed Sarah) to trust Him. But as time passed, that became more and more difficult for the childless couple.

In Genesis 12, God instructed Abram to leave his country and move to the land of Canaan—the Promised Land. When Abram got to Canaan, the Lord appeared to him and confirmed His promise to give the land to Abram’s descendants. And in Genesis 17, the Lord appeared to Abram to make a covenant with him. If Abram served God faithfully and lived a blameless life, God would give him countless descendants. The Lord then changed Abram’s name to Abraham because he would be the father of many nations.

One day, Abraham was sitting at the entrance of his tent during the hottest part of the day when he saw three men nearby. Abraham recognized one of them as the Lord Himself. The Bible doesn’t say how Abraham recognized Him, but it may have been because he had already encountered the Lord on two previous occasions.

So the encounter at Mamre was the third time the Lord appeared to Abraham. And on all three occasions, it was Jesus he came face to face with. It couldn’t have been God the Father. The apostle Paul wrote of Him, “No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will” (1 Timothy 6:16 nlt). Jesus Himself touched on His encounter with Abraham during His confrontation with the Pharisees in John 8. “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?” they replied (verse 57 nlt). They couldn’t wrap their minds around the idea that the One who stood before them had also stood before Abraham centuries earlier.

Unlike the Pharisees, Abraham knew exactly who he was talking to. And it must have gratified him to hear the Lord confirm again that Sarah would give birth to a son. Sarah, on the other hand, had a different reaction. She laughed to herself when she heard the Lord’s words. She was, after all, nearly ninety years old, and Abraham was nearly one hundred—not exactly the prime childbearing years.

Jesus reassured the couple with an important question by quoting Genesis 18:14: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (nlt) Within a year, they would have their answer. And they would name him Isaac.

It is interesting how Jesus came to different people in the Bible. To Abraham, Jesus came as a traveler. We know that Jesus said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad” (John 8:56 nlt). Why did the Lord come to Abraham as a sojourner? That is what Abraham was.

Jesus meets us where we are, in a way that resonates with us. He appeared to Abraham and Sarah to encourage them to be patient, to trust God’s timing, and to prepare for the blessings and challenges that lay ahead. He does the same thing for us, as often as necessary, through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
