Diplomatic Delusion: Israelis Have No Interest in Handing Over Land to Be Used as a Launchpad for Terror
By Tony Perkins - https://harbingersdaily.com/diplomatic-delusion-israelis-have-no-intrest-in-handing-over-land-to-be-used-as-a-launchpad-for-terror/
This coming week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be in Washington to meet with President Trump to discuss a potential ceasefire agreement in Gaza. In advance of the prime minister’s visit, the leadership of Israel’s governing party made a significant, if not historic, statement.
Likud cabinet ministers, along with Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, have signed a petition urging the Israeli government to formally assert sovereignty over Judea and Samaria — what much of the world still refers to as the “West Bank.” This move sends a clear message: a two-state solution is no longer a viable basis for peace.
Israeli leaders are signaling what many have long believed — that the era of “land for peace” is over. The term “West Bank” originated with the 1947 U.N. partition plan and the Jordanian occupation that followed. Whether by design or default, the term downplays the land’s historical and strategic significance, evoking images of a barren strip of sand along the Jordan River. In reality, Judea and Samaria form the heart of Israel’s ancestral homeland — where nearly 80% of the Bible’s recorded events took place. The region also constitutes nearly one-quarter of Israel’s current land mass.
The October 7, 2023, Hamas-led massacre shattered any illusions that territorial concessions lead to peace. Gaza, the laboratory of the two-state solution, proved instead to be a launchpad for terror. Today, only 21% of Israelis support the creation of a Palestinian state — reflecting a dramatic erosion of trust in the two-state paradigm.
In conversations I’ve had with Israeli officials since that attack, formal sovereignty over Judea and Samaria was not an immediate priority. However, the geopolitical ground has shifted. Iran’s terror network has been significantly weakened. And with the potential to expand the Abraham Accords, there’s a real opportunity to reshape the region. But such normalization efforts with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and others may hinge on Israeli concessions, particularly the creation of a Palestinian state.
Netanyahu may be immune to the enchantment of such diplomacy, but U.S. officials often are not. The seductive call of “peace in our time” has repeatedly led American administrations — Republican and Democratic alike — onto the shoals of diplomatic delusion. History should remind us: the Gaza disengagement, endorsed by the George W. Bush administration, did not bring stability. Instead, it birthed a terrorist regime.
Judea and Samaria are not only 24 times larger than Gaza but are embedded in the geographic and spiritual core of Israel. Surrendering this strategic depth would not foster peace — it would invite prolonged conflict and existential risk.
The United States should support Israel’s rightful claim to sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. This is not only a matter of historical justice, but of national security— for Israel and for all who value stability in the Middle East. Failing to do so will perpetuate a failed status quo, embolden enemies of peace, and betray the very principles that have undergirded America’s strongest ally in the region.
Behind Closed Doors: Trump–Netanyahu Dinner Focuses on Gaza Framework, Abraham Accords, and Regional Realignment

Unusual Delay Before Departure
Prime Minister Netanyahu’s departure aboard the Wing of Zion on Sunday, July 6, was delayed by several hours. The Prime Minister’s Office officially cited 'security consultation' as the reason. However, Israeli media reported additional contributing factors, including internal coalition tensions—especially related to ultra-Orthodox demands over military conscription legislation. Sources close to the government confirmed that last-minute political negotiations may have delayed the final decision to leave.
This was not the first time the Wing of Zion faced operational challenges. Past U.S.-bound trips required adjustments to flight path and loading due to airspace sensitivities and weight limits. Routing may also have avoided jurisdictions associated with international legal risk.
The result: Netanyahu’s flight did not depart on schedule, and the delay reinforced what many observers already understood—that this visit is anything but routine.
Netanyahu landed in Washington, D.C. at 12:45 a.m. local time on Sunday, July 6—approximately eight hours later than originally scheduled.
At 6:30 p.m. on Monday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be greeted by former U.S. President Donald J. Trump at the South Portico of the White House. Five minutes later, the two leaders are expected to sit down for a private dinner in the Blue Room—closed to all press, staff, and official media coverage.
There will be no statements. No photographs. No joint address.
The meeting is highly unusual in format and tone. For a visit of such diplomatic weight, and with Netanyahu making a highly compressed visit to Washington, the discretion suggests more than symbolism.
What Is on the Table
It won’t just be silverware and steak tonight. This dinner—formal, quiet, and off the record—is expected to serve a full menu of geopolitical courses. No appetizers here. What’s on the table is layered, delicate, and potentially historic.
1. A 60-day ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, coordinated by the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar.
2. A phased hostage-for-prisoner exchange, including the return of Israeli hostages and the remains of victims.
3. Post-conflict governance arrangements for Gaza, excluding Hamas and backed by Gulf and Egyptian cooperation.
4. A broad expansion of the Abraham Accords, focused on drawing Saudi Arabia into the framework through phased normalization measures.
5. Security guarantees and defense alignment involving Gulf partners and U.S. oversight.
6. Potential sovereignty discussions over parts of Judea and Samaria—though not confirmed as a formal agenda item.
What is especially significant is the renewed push to expand the Abraham Accords—not as a diplomatic footnote, but as the operational blueprint for regional restructuring. According to officials familiar with the negotiations, the White House is weighing a modular normalization model that allows Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, and potentially Indonesia to enter in stages, tied to Gaza stabilization and future defense compacts.
While previous phases of the Abraham Accords focused on bilateral treaties, this next phase may involve layered agreements: economic corridors, airspace access, Red Sea security, and joint port infrastructure. Washington and Jerusalem are seeking to move the Abraham Accords from symbolic diplomacy into functional alignment.
The presence of U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee adds another layer. Huckabee flew with Prime Minister Netanyahu aboard the Wing of Zion from Tel Aviv to Washington on Sunday, July 6. This is not routine protocol. No formal statement was issued by the White House regarding Huckabee’s inclusion, and no U.S. spokesperson has commented publicly.
The fact that an American ambassador traveled with a foreign head of government to a closed-door dinner with the U.S. President is, by all diplomatic standards, extraordinary. It signals not ceremonial support, but strategic participation.
Huckabee’s inclusion in the Israeli delegation may indicate a quiet consensus on the spiritual and political stakes of the Accords' expansion. His longstanding advocacy for Israel and vocal support for Judea and Samaria are well documented.
Final Note
The dinner is expected to last under two hours. But what is being discussed may determine the trajectory of the region for years to come. Gaza’s future, Saudi recognition, Red Sea military corridors, and sovereignty in the biblical heartland are all potentially linked to what is on the table.
And what will be decided in the Blue Room—was first decided in heaven. Because the Church is praying.
Prophecy Update: Islam
By Daymond Duck
Time and space will not permit me to adequately cover this subject, but here are some of my understandings that I think people should know:
>Some say that many Muslims are peace-loving moderates, but it is a mistake to overlook the violent nature of the fundamentalists. They say that only one to two percent support terrorism. This is a whitewash job, but if it was true, there would still be millions of supporters of Islamic terrorism in the world.
>Some say that Islam began with Abraham, but I believe it really began with Muhammad around 570 A.D. (about 2,500 years after Abraham).
>Muhammad was a caravan trader who often went to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. He was troubled because the Saudis worshipped about 360 gods and goddesses, and he believed there was just one god. He started having visions and believed he was called to be a prophet. He started speaking against idolatry, abuses of the wealthy, and advocating for the poor. Christians would agree with some of his teachings.
>Some in Mecca plotted to kill him, and he had to flee for his life. He went to Medina, was well received, gained political power, and eventually, after more than one try, conquered Mecca.
>At first, he was friendly toward Christians and Jews, but some of his teachings became an issue, and he drove them away.
>This set the stage for a major problem today. No one is allowed to question the teachings of Muhammad. And many Muslim communities will not tolerate the presence of Christians and Jews.
>Muslims are reluctant to sign peace treaties with non-Muslims. But if they sign a peace treaty, they believe it is nothing more than a temporary truce to allow them time to build up their military. Once they think their military is strong enough, they see nothing wrong with breaking their peace treaty (because Muhammad signed and broke a peace treaty at Mecca).
>It is a long story, but Muhammad eventually got rid of 360 or so gods and goddesses at Mecca, except for the moon God called Allah. Many historians say the crescent shape of the moon on the Muslim flag and the crescent shape of the moon over Muslim mosques is there because Allah was the moon god in the days of Muhammad.
>Muslims believe the Bible has been distorted, that it is filled with mistakes, that God’s real truth has been suppressed, and that Christianity and Judaism are nothing more than altered or misunderstood forms of Islam.
>They want to replace the Bible with the Koran, replace Jehovah with Allah, replace Jesus with Muhammad, replace Israel with the Palestinians, and replace the church with the umma (the community of faithful followers of Islam).
>They believe in Adam, Noah, etc., but they believe they were Muslims; they believe Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Jesus were prophets, but they believe Muhammad was a greater prophet, and they believe what Muhammad said supersedes what all the others said.
>According to the Koran, Islam is the only true religion. This is why some Muslim countries have banned all other religions, why some Muslim clerics preach death to the Jews, and why some Muslim countries persecute Christians and Jews.
Here are some other quick facts about Islam:
A man is superior to a woman.
A man’s testimony carries twice as much weight in court as a woman’s testimony.
A man’s inheritance shall be twice as much as a woman’s.
A man can beat his wife to punish her.
A man can have more than one wife.
A Muslim cannot marry a non-Muslim unless she converts.
A Muslim can force his enemy to submit to Islam.
A Muslim cannot befriend a Christian or Jew.
Allah cannot be known in a personal way.
Allah is not love.
Allah is not a Father.
Allah is not the Son.
Allah requires total obedience to Islam.
Everyone has two angels: one records our good works; the other records our bad works.
Jesus didn’t die in our place.
Someone died in His place.
Jesus was not the Son of God.
God has no sons.
The Holy Spirit is the angel Gabriel.
Non-Muslims will be cast into hell.
Theft is punishable by amputation of the hands.
Muslims have something called the Five Pillars of Faith
One—Affirmation or profession.
To be a Muslim, a person must repeat the creed, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.
Two—Prayer.
A Muslim is required to pray five times a day while kneeling and facing Mecca.
Three—Almsgiving.
A Muslim must give two and one-half percent of his income to the poor, the mosque, or the Islamic state.
Four—Fasting.
Every Muslim must fast during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan.
Five—Pilgrimage.
At least once during their lifetime, all Muslims who can afford it must make a pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Some Muslims have a sixth (Jihad or the spread of Islam through holy war).
(Note: The Ayatollah Khomeini said he wants to hear the cry “There is no god but Allah” all over the world.”)
Here are some events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close:
One, concerning Islam: on June 28, 2025, an Iranian Shiite Ayatollah issued a fatwa (Islamic religious ruling) calling for the death of Pres. Trump, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu, and other high-ranking Israeli officials.
His fatwa cites the Koran and declares that Trump and Netanyahu are enemies of Allah for threatening the Ayatollah Khomeini.
Iran also wants terrorist sleeper cells to step up attacks in the U.S.
Two, on June 25, 2025, Israel’s nascent (powerless) Sanhedrin (70 Israeli Jewish leaders) issued the following religious declaration to all our cousins, the seed of Ishmael, and all Muslims everywhere in the world.
The religious court explicitly connects Israel’s military achievements to biblical prophecy, stating that all of humanity now sees the Israeli attacks on Iran that amaze the entire world, and as believers, we all understand that the Creator of the world, the God of Israel, is the one who gives his children, the children of Israel, these wonderful successes and victories.
(My opinion: They rightly declared that Old Testament prophecy is being fulfilled and that Israel’s great victory is God’s doing.)
Three, concerning wars and rumors of wars (including the Battle of Gog and Magog): on June 25, 2025, in remarks following his presence at the NATO Summit, Pres. Trump told a reporter the ceasefire between Iran and Israel may not hold.
Trump said, “Someday, it could maybe start again soon.”
(My opinion: It is not over. Iran cannot be trusted. Gog and Magog is coming.)
(More: On June 25, 2025, Pres. Trump said the U.S. and Iran will discuss a ceasefire in the coming week, but Iran responded that it will not give up its nuclear program.)
Four, concerning Iran’s efforts to build nuclear weapons: on June 25, 2025, Pres. Trump said the U.S. will launch further strikes against Iran if it attempts to rebuild its nuclear infrastructure.
(More: On July 1, 2025, it was reported that satellite images show that Iran has moved heavy equipment to its bombed nuclear reactor at Fordo and is actively clearing the underground debris.)
(More: On July 2, 2025, it was reported that a bipartisan group of lawmakers in the U.S. House of Rep. introduced new legislation this week that would grant Pres. Trump the authority to provide Israel with access to B-2 stealth bombers and bunker-busting bombs should Iran resume efforts to develop nuclear weapons.)
Five, concerning Israel being a great army at the end of the age: Iran had 2-3,000 missiles in many locations, drones, a supposedly very powerful military, and yet Israel had them begging for help in about one week and agreeing to a ceasefire in just twelve days.
Six, concerning the Abraham Accords and peace treaty with many in the Middle East: on June 25, 2025, Pres. Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, said the White House will have big announcements about other nations joining the Abraham Accords soon.
Seven, concerning a ceasefire in Gaza: on June 26, 2025, it was reported that the U.S. and Israel have agreed to five proposals:
The hostilities in Gaza will cease within two weeks;
Four Arab nations (including Egypt and the UAE) will oversee Gaza’s administration, replacing Hamas;
The remaining Hamas leaders will be exiled while hostages are being freed;
Various countries will accept Gazans who want to emigrate;
An expansion of the Abraham Accords will lead more Arab nations to recognize Israel officially.
It was also reported that Israel might be willing to accept a Palestinian State contingent upon reforms by the Palestinian Authority, and the U.S. might agree to limited Israeli authority in Judea and Samaria.
(My opinion: It is hard for me to believe that everyone will accept this – but if they do, and even if they declare peace and safety in the Middle East – I don’t think God will accept it because it ignores His promise to give all of the Promised Land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their descendants after them in their generation. Jacob’s descendants are the Jews. The Jews will get all of the Promised Land, and they cannot give part of it away and get away with it.)
(Update: On June 27, 2025, Pres. Trump said he believes it is possible that a ceasefire in the Gaza conflict will be reached by next week.)
(Update: On July 1, 2025, Pres. Trump said Qatar and Egypt will deliver a U.S. and Israel FINAL ceasefire proposal to Hamas.)
(Update: On July 2, 2025, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “There will be no more Hamas. It’s over. We will free all of our hostages, and we will eliminate Hamas down to its very foundations.”)
(Update: On July 2, 2025, Hamas said it is ready to accept any initiative that clearly leads to the complete end to the war.)
Eight, concerning peace in the Middle East: on June 26, 2025, Pres. Trump’s Press Sec. Karoline Leavitt said:
Trump wants peace in the Middle East.
He is not afraid to use strength if he needs to.
He believes the Middle East is on its way to peace and prosperity.
He hopes that negotiations will lead to a new era of peace in the Middle East.
(My opinion: I believe the Bible teaches that there will be a treaty with many for peace in the Middle East for seven years. At some point, the Antichrist will confirm – strengthen – it, and that will begin the Tribulation Period. I also believe the Pre-Trib Rapture view is the correct view.)
Nine, on June 27, 2025, i24NEWS reported that a Syrian source said Israel and Syria are expected to sign a peace agreement before the end of 2025.
(My opinion: Notice all of this talk about peace in the Middle East. World leaders are crying out for peace in the Middle East, and it is badly needed. They should want peace. But it must be on God’s terms or it will fail. And that is what the Bible says will happen. They will agree to a peace treaty that ignores God’s promises to Israel in the Bible. God won’t accept it, and it will fail.)
Ten, on June 30, 2025, Israel confirmed that it is actively pursuing peace deals with Syria and Lebanon but denied that it will give back the Golan Heights.
Israel’s Foreign Min. said, “The Golan Heights will remain part of the State of Israel.”
(More: On July 1, 2025, the Golan Heights Regional Council Governor said, “While we welcome real peace efforts, we are very clear: any future agreement must recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan.)
(More: A second report on June 30, 2025, said Syria has made it clear that under any agreement, Israel will not be permitted to operate or strike targets within Syrian territory. Israel, on the other hand, insists on retaining the ability to address security threats, particularly in scenarios where Israel withdraws from the buffer zones.)
Eleven, concerning offerings at a rebuilt Israeli Temple, on June 29, 2025, it was reported that the Israeli milling company Shtibel has announced plans to produce semolina, specifically kosher and pure, for the Temple offerings—including the minchah (meal offerings) and the shtei halechem (Two Loaves) offering brought on the Festival of Shavuot (Lev. 2:14, 23:17).
According to the report, “For many, it is more than a flour product—it’s a sign of redemption taking shape, one grain at a time.”
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the end of times: A biblical perspective
Jo Elizabeth - https://allisraelnews.com/the-temple-mount-and-the-end-of-times-a-biblical-perspective
The Temple Mount has been in Muslim hands for centuries following a series of conquests, but following the unexpected Israeli victory in the 1967 Six Day War
The 35 acre plateau on top of Mount Zion is approximately the size of 35 football fields, and the most contested piece of real estate in the world. Why? Because God has claimed it for Himself, and so God’s enemies rage against it. If Israel was chosen to be the “navel” of the world according to Ezekiel 5:5, and Jerusalem as God’s holy city, the Temple Mount is the very epicenter of spiritual significance, from a biblical point of view.
The iconic golden “Dome of the Rock” in the middle of the Temple Mount is often mistaken for a mosque, but it has a different significance. The famous Al Aqsa mosque (meaning “the Far Mosque”),with its trademark grey domes, is on the southern end of the platform, but the blue tiled structure with its golden dome is said to have been built to encase the “foundation stone” of the earth.
The City of David Foundation identifies that foundation stone as the bedrock of Mount Moriah:
“According to Jewish tradition, this is the stone on which the world was founded, hence its name, as well as the place of the binding of Isaac,” the Foundation explains, referring to the moment when God tested Abraham’s faith on that mountain, as recorded in Genesis 22. They note that the foundation stone is typically thought to have been in the Holy of Holies but that today it is found underneath the Muslim edifice of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount.
For Muslims the site is known as Al-Haram al-Sharif (“the Noble Sanctuary”) and it is believed to be the place Mohammed ascended to heaven on a flying horse. However, the holiest site in Islam is in Mecca, almost a thousand miles away, which is why Al Aqsa is the “far away” mosque. Now when Muslims pray on the Temple Mount, they prostrate themselves facing away from the golden dome, and towards Mecca.
The Temple Mount has been in Muslim hands for centuries following a series of conquests, but after the unexpected Israeli victory in the 1967 Six Day War, east Jerusalem was reclaimed from Jordan who had occupied it since 1948, and the whole old city was reunited under Israeli control. As a gesture of peace, Israel handed the hotly contested Temple Mount site back over to Jordan, and it has been administered by the Jordanian Waqf ever since.
That decision has been decried by many, since the Waqf refuses to allow Christians and Jews to pray there. Bibles and prayer books are not allowed – visitors are required to leave any items of that nature behind, and also to comply with the strict modesty laws while in the Waqf controlled area. However, the hot indignation of not being able to pray on the site where the temple once stood has been starting to bubble.
“Each year, more and more Israelis take the dangerous risk of ascending the holy mountain under the hostile guards of Jordanian officials,” wrote Rabbi Tuly Weisz in the Jerusalem Post. “Palestinian terrorists are getting scared as Jews are getting serious about restoring our holy of holies, the site we pray towards every day, and the building we beseech God for repeatedly throughout our liturgy.”
Jewish prayers, which are prayed three times a day, implore God to restore Jerusalem and rebuild His temple. Indeed, we see in the Bible that it will happen.
The first temple, built around 1000 BC, was initially King David’s idea – it wasn’t God’s initiative. However, the holy site was chosen by God in the time of Moses.
“You are to seek only the place Adonai your God chooses from all your tribes to put His Name to dwell – there you will come,” God tells His people in Deuteronomy 12:5, emphasizing again in Deuteronomy 16:5-6: “You may not offer the Passover sacrifice within any of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, but at the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell in it, there you shall offer the Passover sacrifice, in the evening at sunset, at the time you came out of Egypt.”
The Israelites coming out of Egypt had no idea where God’s chosen place was, and God doesn’t mention its location, so how was the place identified? Some 500 years after the exodus, in the time of King David, God brought a terrible plague to a halt on that spot – the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite – and David decided to buy it in order to worship God there.
”So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for 50 shekels of silver. Then David built there an altar to Adonai, and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. So Adonai was moved by prayer of entreaty for the land, and restrained the plague from Israel (2 Samuel 24:18-25).
David was a warrior, but his son’s Hebrew name, Shlomo, comes from the Hebrew word shalom, meaning peace. God chose Solomon to build the temple on that sacred threshing floor because he was not a man of bloodshed. The temple was meant to be a place of peace and blessing, mercy and forgiveness – a place where all the tribes of Israel could worship God and celebrate His feasts.
However, when Israel walked in rebellion, God allowed the temple to be destroyed on the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av during the Babylonian invasion of 586 BC. Remarkably, the Second Temple – rebuilt by Zerubbabel after the exile – was also destroyed on the 9th of Av, this time by the Romans in 70 AD.
The Bible says a third temple will eventually be built in the same sacred spot. Isaiah 2 describes the Messianic Age when Gentiles from all the nations stream up to worship the God of Israel once again, and 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 also confirms that a temple will be standing when Yeshua comes to rule and reign. The passage describes the “Man of Lawlessness” taking his seat in the temple of God, “proclaiming himself to be God,” only to be destroyed: “the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8).
Rabbi Weisz has suggested that the three Abrahamic religions should build the third temple together, “without damaging or disrespecting the Dome of the Rock or Al Aqsa, as part of a future peace plan between Israel and her Arab neighbors to end the plague of Islamic terror once and for all.” He argues that with Mecca being Islam’s primary holy site, the compromise might be conceivable. There is certainly plenty of room to build up there without destroying anything. However, compromise doesn’t seem to be a word the God of Israel is overly fond of. He is a jealous God.
What will happen between now and then, only God knows. But we know this place is very precious to God.
In Psalm 132 God says, "This is my resting place. However, here I will dwell for I have desired it.”
In Ezekiel 43, He declares, "This is the place of my throne, where I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel forever."
Unsurprisingly Satan wants to steal, kill and destroy all that God loves, and to violate whatever is holy to Him. Yet the history of the Temple Mount shows that desecration and consecration have happened in cycles before, such as the Maccabean revolt against the Greeks recounted every Hanukkah. Satan may defile, but God comes to purify.
It’s no coincidence that the Temple Mount was originally a threshing floor. The Scriptures use the metaphor of threshing the wheat from the chaff over and over as a picture of God separating out the ‘kernels of wheat’: the holy from the profane, the sinner and the saint.
Here is John the Baptist’s description of the Messiah coming: “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He shall clear His threshing floor and gather His wheat into the barn; but the chaff He shall burn up with inextinguishable fire” (Matthew 3:12).
Clearly, there was no threshing and burning in Yeshua’s first visitation, to John’s consternation (Matthew 11:3), but that day will come. The Messiah will enter that plaza through the Eastern Gate and destroy every abomination that has set themselves up to be worshiped on God’s holy mountain. Yeshua will clear and cleanse, and put all things right.
“Therefore just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks and those who practice lawlessness. They will throw them into the fiery furnace; in that place will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear!” (Matthew 13:40-43).
Almost Persuaded
Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2025/07/06/almost-persuaded/
When I heard the words I sat a bit straighter in my chair while the president ended his uncharacteristically brief speech. He was reporting the “total obliteration” of Iran’s nuclear facility buried 300 feet below a mountainous terrain.
In ending his speech Mr. Trump thanked the pilots who flew the B2 bombers that released the “bunker buster” bombs. He thanked the Israeli military for their work in making it possible to fly to the targets in an uninhibited way. He then thanked God and followed that by what made me sit straighter in my chair.
The president of the United States said: “We love you, God.”
Never had I ever heard such words coming from a president of the United States. And it came from a man I have always supported yet have said he isn’t a godly man –but is “God’s man” for this time and place so near the end of this Church Age.
What does this statement mean? Is it a statement just for speechifying? Is it a comment of momentary elation over a spectacularly successful mission sent by this presidential administration? Is it made just to solidify and satisfy the president’s evangelical Christian base? Is it a genuine thanks to the God of Heaven made by a worldly man who has seen the light and now is a believer for salvation of his soul?
His statement of love for God did come from a tone of heartfelt gratitude.
Regardless of the reason for saying “We love you, God,” it is, in my view, a most significant, even profound, matter in this profoundly late prophetic hour.
Upon reflection of the statement and things going on that give evidence of God’s great hand in all things involved in not just Iran and the bombing of the nuclear facility, but in all matters surrounding this president, my thoughts immediately leaped to the Apostle Paul and his meeting with King Agrippa.
Paul was accused falsely of blasphemy, fomenting uprising and for crimes of sedition and with other charges. He claimed the right of a Roman citizen and was brought before King Agrippa.
The apostle laid out before the king how he had greatly persecuted Christians, but that Christ disrupted his journey on the road to Damascus. He told of Jesus’ words to him and all the rest. How he was thus converted to the Christian faith.
Festus, who brought him before the king, was incredulous. Here is the account.
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. (Acts 24-29)
So, I am led in my spirit to wonder, based upon his being spared death in the assassination attempt, whether our president, in view of his “We love you, God,” prayer-like words stem from his conversion like the Apostle Paul’s, or to the “almost I am persuaded” words of near conversion like in the case of King Agrippa.
I prayerfully hope, of course, that it is the former rather than the latter of those possibilities that is the case.
But the real point in pursuing this line of thought with this commentary involves the number-one prophetic indicator of where we stand on God’s prophetic timeline. I mean, of course, the nation Israel.
A prominent Jewish writer presented for me a most interesting segway into my thinking regarding matters somewhat akin to the Apostle Paul’s meeting with King Agrippa. The writer offers a novelist’s perspective into the Jewish look at Bible prophecy. It fits within our theme “Almost persuaded.”
“The Bible is a story,” the Yeshiva University philosophy professor told a global audience Thursday evening. “It has a beginning, middle, and an end—and we are the characters writing its final chapters.”
[Rabbi Yosef Bronstein’s] thesis was unlike anything being said by other commentators: this isn’t about ancient prophecies coming true, but about understanding ourselves as active participants in a divine narrative that began with creation and is racing toward its climactic conclusion. By Sunday night, as President Trump announced Iran’s nuclear program had been “completely and totally obliterated,” Rabbi Bronstein’s vision of real-time biblical storytelling seemed prophetic.
The author of “Engaging the Essence: The Torah Philosophy of the Lubavitcher Rebbe” wasn’t offering traditional religious commentary. Instead, he presented something far more compelling: a framework for understanding current events as the latest chapters in the ultimate story ever told.
“The Bible begins with Genesis—’In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth’—and ends with the eschatological perfect world where God’s presence is revealed for all to see,” explained Rabbi Bronstein, who leads a rabbinical training center in Efrat and holds a PhD in Talmudic studies. “In between, you have an unfolding story where God is constantly trying to push the world forward from creation all the way to redemption.”…
Three days after his presentation, as Iran’s nuclear facilities lay in ruins and the world witnessed what seemed like divine intervention through human action, Rabbi Bronstein’s vision of participatory biblical narrative seemed less like literary theory and more like an instruction manual for understanding our times.
We aren’t just witnessing history—we’re writing the Bible’s final chapters. And the story, Rabbi Bronstein suggests, is approaching its long-awaited happy ending. (“We Are Characters in God’s Story” – Scholar Reveals How Israel’s War Writes the Bible’s Final Chapters, Elie Mischel, Biblical News Israel365 June 23, 2025)
This author, an orthodox rabbi, is persuaded that God’s story of humankind is right and true and he can see it developing to a “happy ending”. But he, along with all who are of belief held within Judaism, as well as all other belief systems not centered in Jesus Christ, are almost persuaded, just as was King Agrippa almost persuaded when Paul preached to him. Sadly, tragically, theirs, apart from coming to belief in God’s only way to salvation –His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ—is destined to end in eternal separation from God and heavenly bliss. It will, for these, not be a happy ending.
This is why it is vital that we who name that majestic, Holy Name witness as never before to those who need to come to Jesus, who is the only way, truth, and life that leads to the Heavenly Father and happiness in Heaven forever.
Here, again, is how to witness to those who are not yet persuaded.
That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10: 9-10)
Daily Jot: The Prophetic Mystery of the Red Heifer
Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
Much has been written about the Red Heifer and the mystery surrounding its significance to the end times. Numbers 19:1–22 opens with one of the most peculiar and prophetically loaded rituals in Scripture—the ordinance of the Red Heifer (Parah Adumah). At first glance, it seems like an obscure priestly instruction. But when you dig deeper, it points straight to the mystery of redemption and the return of Christ. The LORD told Moses and Aaron, “Bring a red cow without defect or blemish that has never borne a yoke.” According to Jewish tradition, this command was first given on Nisan 1, the day the Tabernacle was raised. It is now reappearing in the 40th year of Israel’s journey along with the deaths of Miriam and Aaron.
Coincidence? Not likely. The Red Heifer ritual was meant to purify those defiled by death—what better time to reintroduce it than during national mourning? The ritual of the Red Heifer is unlike any other in the Torah. First, the cow had to be completely red—no blemishes, no stray hairs of a different color, and it must never have been used for work. Second, it was the only offering made outside the camp. Third, everything was burned—flesh, hide, even the blood. And as it burned, cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet thread were added. The ashes were then gathered to create the “water of separation” used to cleanse those defiled by contact with the dead.
Adding to the mystery, this was the only sacrifice that defiled the one who performed it, while cleansing the one who received it. A divine paradox if there ever was one, as Jewish tradition says the Red Heifer was to atone for the sin of the golden calf. The Book of Hebrews, 1 Peter, and the Gospels, however, make clear that Jesus is the prophetic fulfillment of the Red Heifer. He was without blemish (2 Corinthians 5:21). He was crucified outside the camp (Hebrews 13:12). And His blood, like the ashes of the heifer, was for our purification—not just from outward defilement, but from dead works so we can serve the living God (Hebrews 9:13-14).When the Roman spear pierced Jesus’ side, blood and water flowed—a direct tie to the purification water used in the Red Heifer ritual (John 19:34). This was prophetic fulfilment.
In 2022, five red heifers were brought from Texas to Israel with hopes of fulfilling Temple requirements. As of now, they’ve developed disqualifying hairs. But the very fact that the search is this far along, and happening in our lifetime, raises the prophetic temperature. Rabbinic tradition states there have been nine Red Heifers throughout history. Rabbi Maimonides taught that the tenth would be sacrificed by the Messiah Himself. The Red Heifer is a powerful picture of the cost of cleansing. Death had to be dealt with. Defilement needed purification. And Messiah, outside the camp, bore our defilement so we could be made clean. As Hebrews 9:14 asks: “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
Daily Devotion: An Ambassador for Christ
by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org
The Lord now chose seventy-two other disciples and sent them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places he planned to visit. These were his instructions to them: ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.’ —Luke 10:1–2

A spiritual revival often begins with a sense of dissatisfaction, a realization that something is missing in your life. Have you experienced that?
Maybe you’ve wondered what to do with your life. Maybe you’re middle-aged or getting on a little bit in years. You’re looking at the course that your life is taking and asking, “Is this really where I want to go?” Maybe you’ve reached some of the goals you set for yourself. You’ve had a certain level of success, but still feel like your life is lacking some meaning and purpose. Maybe you’re a young person asking, “What am I going to do? What should I be spending my life on?”
None of us wants to squander our lives in pursuit of nothing. We want to find purpose and meaning. We want to pursue something noble. But what does that mean? And how should that pursuit impact the way we live our lives?
In terms of revival, we might ask how we can tap into something deeper, more vibrant in our Christian faith. The answers to these questions are found in Luke 10, which highlights three roles that every follower of Jesus Christ should fill. In today’s devotion, we’ll look at the first role: ambassador. Believers must be ambassadors for Christ. We must represent Him and His message to the world. We must live in a way that reflects Him so that when people look at us, they see Him.
In Luke 10, we find Jesus at a crucial point in His life and ministry. His time in Galilee had come to an end, and He was beginning the slow journey to Jerusalem that would culminate in His crucifixion. To prepare the way, He selected 72 disciples to go ahead of Him to the areas He would be visiting.
This was a critical opportunity, and He wanted His disciples to make the most of it. If you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, you have critical opportunities, too. Opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus. Opportunities to talk about your own journey to faith. Opportunities to introduce others to the life-changing wisdom of God’s Word.
You have no way of knowing where and when you’ll find “open doors”— people who are especially receptive to your message because of the circumstances of their lives. But you need to understand that open doors may not stay that way for long. You must be prepared to seize every opportunity. That’s what it means to be an ambassador for Christ.
Look at Luke 10:2 again. Jesus didn’t say He needed spectators or critics; He said He needed workers, people willing to step out of their comfort zones and risk rejection for something infinitely more important than comfort and acceptance.
Your work as an ambassador won’t go unnoticed. Proverbs 11:25 says, “Those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed” (NLT). That’s how personal revival works.
